Maybe I am missing something but I love story driven games. The demo for ME2 was truly lacking. I have played many better demos than that one. Was the demo just a bad look at the game? Red Dead Redemption was one of the best games not only this year but this generation. My first try I didn't really give a chance for the game to develop. You really have to put some time in to appreciate what this game really accomplishes. I can understand if you only put a few hours into this game and didn't like it. Exactly... Mirrors Edge wasn't very good and many wanted to give it a chance. A high profile game isn't going to escape millions of viewers. I think EA seems to kind of have a SONY type philosophy where they are not afraid to try new ip's. It can sometimes be a big risk and it does pay off. I think that is exactly what Heavy Rain did so well because life after all is a series of quick time events. Think of it this way. Everyday we make decisions and many are unimportant but some can have a serious effect on our day, week, year, or even life. I think Heavy Rain put us into the shoes of several characters very well. It was very easy to get into the game with the mood that was presented.

Kancerkid you obviously haven't played the game. There are tons of customizing options where you can optimize every major part of the vehicle changing performance dramatically. I am not just talking about upgrades. If you played the game you would know. Instead you are just collecting opinions from others without facts.

I really believe this game should be re-reviewed by some publications. I think many if not most complaints are null and void.
At first I was thinking this update better be good considering how large it is. So far it's great. The race purses have been increased. In BSpec you have better options to race the same race again and change the racer even after you chose one. It's nice to see them making it better.
Does it make you feel better calling someone ignorant. I don't understand your logic but if you like calling people names to prove a point then you really don't have an argument. Yes I love GT5 and no I don't think it's perfect but the core of the game should be left alone. There is always room for improvement. But improvement compared to a complete overhaul are very different things.
I think the problem with so many games is that developers have become afraid to make games difficult. Making them incredibly simple. The Gran Turismo series has stuck to a simple formula. I think this formula is what makes games great because anyone can play but few can master.
Who really needs multiple consoles. Yes in a wonderful world we could have someone pay for everything so we wouldn't have to worry about having a job paying for bills and other necessities.
