The humans look terrible! The rest shows potential though. I am hoping for the best. The MP demo thing they put out looked to be fun and also looked good. But definitely long times between them showing anything substantial.

I like the way Project C.A.R.S. did it, making everyone an investor basically. That's how I'd want to do it. Wouldn't feel fair otherwise. Work out a method to give people back based on earnings that works. Then when you take a risk, you know you stand to gain something as well as help a project get off the ground that wouldn't perhaps through a traditional route and also give the developers the freedom to make their vision without publisher interference.

@Septic I think you can take issue with Jimmy Kimmel's portrayal of gamers without it being overblown. Like disagreeing with him. When he did his "make a mend with youtubers" clip he didn't shave and looked like he just stumbled out of bed and said "lets get this over with to silence the damn nerds". I didn't take offence, as he's just a person, but I don't agree with his apparent view of gamers. There's still that stigma that if you are a gamer, yo...

Timed exclusives mean nothing to me. Only full exclusives do. Plus ROTTR is also coming out on the 360 and it shows. Doesn't hold a candle to U4 in the graphics/spectacle department. So I can wait for the PC version.

Full exclusives take advantage of the consoles they are for. Quantum Break looks fantastic because it's made for XB1 only, and no other platform. They can focus on XB1's hardware and not worry about other platforms. That's the game that will sell ...

Who with talent and choice would choose to work at Konami considering their now out in the open hostile work environment? I think it'll be tough for them to find the talent to make a quality game.

Not IGN as a collective, the person that was assigned to review it gave it a 9. Big difference. Some people love Destiny, some don't. Guy who reviewed it was obviously in the previous category.

Azuke: Agree completely. As an added opinion, if he wants FFVII -- the one that is already made -- then he should play that. It'd be useless to just update the graphics and call it done and expect it to be a success with today's expectations of what a good game should be.

I am looking forward to a fresh perspective on FFVII and if it turns out to be a good game, the nostalgia aspect will only be more awesome. But nostalgia, fond memories, can never be replicated. It&#...

Remedy hasn't produced the quantity of quality titles like Naughty Dog. Uncharted 2, 3, Last of Us and Jak and Daxter vs. Alan Wake and Max Payne 1 and 2. To me ND wins out by a fair margin.

As far as Quantum Break and Uncharted 4, they look equally good at the moment. U4 edges it graphically and on the action scale, but I love the style of QB, the time abilities and the story seems more interesting.

But we'll see when they come out. So many good gam...

This, Halo 5 and Gears of War 4 (maybe Scalebound but I'm skeptic about the MP part) is what I am getting an XB1 for. However, engine optimization doesn't mean that the game is going to look better. In fact, it might end up looking worse. We don't know how well it's actually running now throughout the whole campaign. The optimizations could be because they need to in order to maintain 30fps.

Witcher 3 underwent engine optimizations and you compare gameplay fo...

Also, this is the cell architecture we are talking about. Emulating that, just getting a game, any game, to run is a feat of coding talent.

By a mile? Dreams, Uncharted 4, Last Guardian, Wild, Rime, SFV and Horizon Dawn is the most interesting of that bunch by a mile? I admit it's one of my most looked forward to PS4 exclusive, but I am extremely excited about the other titles in that list too so a mile is to me a bit of a stretch.

But everyone is entitled to have their own opinion and nothing wrong with that (as long as it's not mean towards others).

Man, DICE messed up ONCE in their whole amazing career and you can't let it go. Out of how many games they've done, how many had a flawed released? 1! DICE is a fantastic studio. BF4 was pushed out early against DICE's wishes by EA. Considering the backlash, I doubt that will happen again.

It's also artist execution. It could be done better.

New NFS looks stunning as well and I'll definitely get it for the PC. Always online pisses me off but as long as I can enjoy it by myself. Comcast internet does go down occasionally and it would suck to not be able to play a game you bought. Also, can we trust their servers with all the crap that's been happening the last year?

What about when they decide to stop supporting the servers, will they unlock an offline mode? And if so, why couldn't they just give us an...

What racing game on PC looks better than Driveclub? Not even Project Cars look better. Resolution, framerate and antialiasing on the right PC, sure, but as far as overall visuals go I have not to date seen a racing title as good as Driveclub on any platform. And considering it came out a year into the PS4 cycle, I believe GT6 can push the same visuals to 60fps (I just hope they make the campaign as good as Forza's has become).

Note to PC diehards, I buy all multiplatform ...

@warczar After all the recent news about the horrible working conditions there, all the people with talent and other options will now avoid Konami like the plague. Before all these revelations, working on a MGS game was a dream for many talented developers. So I don't see the likelihood of them creating another hit like MGSV to be very likely.

If they outsource, like what they did with Castlevania to the Spanish studio, there's a small possibility. But even an outside...

To defend the other sex, men haven't been treated as second class citizens. So in an ideal society where everyone's equal, I'd agree with you, but women still aren't treated equal to men in large parts of the world. That's why there's a difference.

I like looking at beautiful/sexy women as much as the next guy, just saying there is a justifiable difference when women are over-sexualized compared to when men are. Hopefully society will equal out between...

ROTTR looks great but yeah, Uncharted 4 clearly looks on another level. A perfect example is when they are both in similar situations, a car flips in both games with the protagonist in it and fire starts and you escape the car in both games. Compare how it's handle both gameplay and graphically and there's just no comparison.

I'm still very much looking forward to ROTTR, but U4 is on another level based on what we've seen so far.
