It’s not that the games listed are bad but none of them would be top 10 in a vintage year. Overall it’s the weakest year in the past 25 years.

Everyone is freaking out about game dev costs spiralling and yet equally people are outraged when devs do something to cut costs.
AI is scary for sure but its here and it will affect the world as much or more than the arrival of the internet. You can't fight it.

Luigi’s mansion is a great looking game even measured against anything on PS5. It goes to show that art style, colour palette and lighting design is more important than pure horsepower and triangle count. It is also a superior game than either of its sequels.

I loved the original dead space but the remake I just found boring. Game design has moved on and the game really showed its age, just small area encounters repeated again and again.
