"deserves these average scores because while it is FUN it is not really that good."
"Anyone coming in and saying they are having lots of FUN and it deserves an 8/10 are simply defending their purchase."
So, basically you think the game is fun, but anyone else who thinks its fun and deserving of an arbitrary review score 1 or 2 points higher than average, is just a sheep trying to defend their purchase.
Nice logic.
Most of the hype for this game was generated by the gaming press and the community alike. The same sites that gave it a low score were the ones praising how revolutionary they thought the game was going to be before release.
When journalists have to ask whether or not the gaming industry "needs" more of something, that's usually the answer.
Are people seriously getting defensive over someones enjoyment of a game. Its sad what the gaming community has come to.
Might pick up Dead Space 2
Clickbait garbage. Half these games aren't even out yet.
Surprised KH2 wasn't on here.
Is this satire? I honestly can't tell whether or not this is serious.
It's now being released the same day as "Rogue." My guess is, they just didn't want to leave last gen owners out during Unity's launch. I doubt it has anything to do with quality, otherwise it would be delayed to early next year.
I don't buy full priced games in general anymore.
"The combination of remasters and games releasing on both generations has been staggering thus far. This isn't something we saw with regularly when the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 launched."
That's because the older PS3 models were backwards compatible, so developers didn't have to worry about remastering old games or developing simultaneously between console generations.
PS2 games were still released well after the PS3 and 360 consoles ...
Try reading the headline.
Hopefully this won't take weeks to resolve lIke last time.
The tester also uploaded a video of him playing if anyone wants to see it.

Game definitely looks like it needs some polish, but it's a beta so it's not surprising.
EDIT: Video was set to Private.
QA: Why didn’t Microsoft, Square Enix or Crystal Dynamics say upfront it was a timed exclusive? Why all the indirect language?
AR: We certainly didn’t intend to cause any confusion with the announcement. The Microsoft Gamescom stage was a great place to make the initial announcement, but not necessarily to go into detail.
They could have just announced that it was coming "first" to Xbox One during the event. That would immediately let people know it...
You're comparing two different situations. Microsoft bought exclusive publishing rights to Conviction. It was never meant to be a timed exclusive.
Microsoft doesn't own the rights to Tomb Raider 2. Therefore SE can release it on whatever platform they want when the contract ends.
They've already confirmed it's a timed exclusive, and not a permanent one. That alone let's me know it's coming to Ps4/PS3. How long the timed exclusive lasts is what matters.
So the author complains about Joel mowing down "hundreds" of bandits in a post apocalyptic setting and how it ruins "immersion", but precedes to praise Bioshock Infinite, a game where you literally go on a Call of Duty style shooting spree after participating in a carnival with dozens of citizens walking around, as perfectly integrating gameplay and narrative.
There is clearly a bias with this guy.
The micro transactions aren't for "fast travel". They're for "fast tracking"(unlocking) certain gear and costumes in the game early without having to earn it yourself. I'm not defending it either way. Just clarifying what the micro transactions are actually for.
I'very personally seen far worse examples of this practice being used. TLOU multiplayer for example requires that you purchase certain powerful weapons that make the game easier, wh...
"I’m sure these games play well on the 7th gen consoles as well as the 8th."
You literally just answered your own question.
