Once again DSOgaming fails to do any research. The 2012 demo is not a fair comparison because it was released before console specs were announced. A more fair comparison would be the 2013 PS4 demo. Also, fog effects are were confirmed by the creative director to still be in the game. I've also seen leaked footage with that effect being put to use.
Lastly, that "review build" they're referring to was actually footage from the multiplayer beta which was said t...
This is not a review. This guy just took footage and impressions from the NDA'd multiplayer beta that went on a few days ago and tried to pass it off as a review of the final game. Hence, why he doesn't mention anything noteworthy about the campaign we haven't already heard and spends the entire video blowing up a gas station. Even if he did get a copy, it would be impossible for him to have tried the multiplayer since the online servers have not gone up yet. That alone proves he...
I'm pretty sure that's just a review of the NDA'd multiplayer beta that was released a few days ago and not the final product. The "reviewer" doesn't mention anything noteworthy about the campaign and spends the entire video trying to blow up a gas station. Even if he got a copy early, he wouldn't be able to try the multiplayer since the servers have not gone up yet.
This video perfectly summarizes why 1080p doesn't always make a game better.

Because every game with good concept art turns out dissapointing?
So many fanboys in this comment section, it's ridiculous. Arguing over resolution and other irrelevant shit to justify their purchase. The PC and PS4 versions won't be too far off from each other. Just buy the game on whatever platform you own and stop acting like children.
Looks pretty boring to me as well based on the game play I've seen.
I literally fell asleep while watching this.
Damn.
Despite the game director confirming it was PS4 game play.

They don't even use PS4 controllers for PC. Stop spreading false information.
I don't see how this is a big deal. Open world games are difficult to demo at conventions without extremely limiting the player. Plus, if they wanted to hide the game from the public they wouldn't have shown it at Pax in the first place.
There are plenty of hands on previews coming up in the next couple of weeks and there are already people that have played the game that had positive things to say about it.

Stories like this are part of the reason I've stopped paying attention to mainstream news altogether. They aren't paid to report the facts. They're paid to brainwash the misinformed public with lies to push their own agenda.
Journalists receiving free promotional material which is standard practice for most preview events translates to being bribed. Yes because, somehow the developers are going snatch the free tablets away from them if they say anything negative about the game. Gotta love these click bait articles.
"They're going to release this vid later this week"
How do you know?
That's the thing about games with dynamic weather systems. The quality can change drastically depending on the time of day and weather conditions. The E3 demos were scripted to certain conditions to show the game at it's very best. I have a feeling that once we see the exact same footage side by side with the same weather and time of day, they won't be far off from each other.
You clearly didn't bother reading the article did you?
They stated from the beginning it was PS4 footage recorded on PC. The confusion came from some idiot claiming he saw a "PC controller" when no one was playing the game in the first place. You can't fault them for other people's stupidity.
I bet you feel pretty stupid right now. LOL.
No he didn't. He specifically said he would check and see, but hasn't confirmed anything.
Dualshockers sent someone to ask a representative at Pax and she confirmed it was PS4.

"Why resolution will make a huge difference in Watch Dogs"
It really doesn't though. 720p and 900p are indistinguishable from each other unless your playing with a magnifying glass. It doesn't affect visual quality, nor does it affect performance.
Other than fanboys on the internet arguing and bragging out which system has higher resolution, it has very little, if any effect on the game itself.
