I'm not going to bother reading this incoherent clickbait nonsense.
The title should have read, "Cop gets fired for giving out personal information about his job and address during an argument on Xbox Live." The only one who was being racist in this video was the black kid.
I find it hilariously ironic that Fox News does game reviews considering how much bad negative press they get from reporters on their channel. I legit thought this was a satire before I clicked the link.
It would be, if linearity was the only reason The Order got low review scores.
I'm confused. How exactly was this racist?
Had mine since Christmas of 2001. Still works perfectly and provides me hours of entertainment, even moreso than a handful of PS3/4 games.
Excellent. More old games I can purchase for $5 at the store.
I never said no one liked the game. Obviously there are people out there who enjoyed it and I have no issue with that. It's all a matter of opinion. However, that doesn't change the fact that the general consensus for this game is mediocre to average. So to argue that reviewers are just lowering their scores to get attention when a large majority of the community feels the same way is idiotic.
I think your tin foil hat is on too tight. Give me one example of a site being paid by the competition to lower their scores.
Here we go again. More conspiracy theory nonsense articles coming from fanboys who can't accept that a PS4 exclusive is getting mediocre reception from critics and most of the gaming community.
Using metacritic user reviews which mostly just come from fanboys and trolls who haven't even purchased the game as a "statistical anslysis." What a joke.
The general consensus from both critics and the majority of the community is that thethe game is...
Did critics lower their scores for Aliens Colonial Marines for the sake of getting more traffic? What about Ryse, RE6, Destiny, etc. The fact is, the general consensus of this game from both critics and the sections of the gaming community that aren't fanboys is that the game is mediocre to average at best. It's as simple as that.
Did we really need a study to prove that falling from a ten story building into a small pile of hay would kill me?
"The reaction The Order: 1886 has received is proof that gamers will not welcome a game that doesn’t meet certain criteria that has become “standard” in the industry"
Pretty ironic considering The Order is just a generic Gears esque third person shooter with a bunch of QTE's and cinematics which has become standard in the industry since 2007. There is nothing unique about this game that stands out that stands out other than presentation. If anything the reaction...
M ratings haven't prevented the millions of children under 18 from playing GTA, Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed etc.
"Î have not seen many games get bashed as mercilessly as this BEFORE release."
Ryse recieved just as much hate if not more than the Order before release. Other games in the past year like Watch Dogs, and MGS Ground Zeroes recieved similar amounts of negativity before release. If The Order wasn't a PS4 exclusive, there wouldn't be nearly as many people defending it.
"Give the final game am honest chance then give your verdict."...
Criticizing a product now translates to wanting it to fail. This guy hasn't even played the game yet he's calling all criticism towards it, from people who have finished it, unjustified.
"Ironically enough, the game does a lot to set it apart from its contemporaries with its gorgeously unique setting to its enemies, weapon design, characters, and more."
The majority of previewers, including the nagative ones praised those aspects. Even if they didn't, that is irrevelant to how well actual game plays and how the mechanics separate itself from other titles.
"With the announcement of Titanfall for instance, journalists were sw...
This is a flawed analogy. People didn't have a problem with The Order simply because it had cutscenes and QTEs. It was because of how excessive and intrusive they were to the overall gameplay experience. Games like God of War and Uncharted don't have nearly as many cutscenes and QTE's as the Order and The Walking Deads QTEs allow you to make choices that drastiscally affect the narrative. The Order is nothing like this.
Wouldn't call it polarizing. The majority of reviews have been consistent from what I've seen.
When last gen versions of games get delayed after their next gen counterparts, that usually means they are poorly optimized. Just look at Shadow of Mordor on last gen.
