I have to admit, the 4 player splitscreen/online campaign co op and weapon smithing does sound interesting, and I'm not even a fan of COD.
'Bald hooligan look'
'Hillbilly UFC fighter'
LOL. Seriously, where do you guys come up with this?
This story is a month old. Who approved this?
Yeah. They should kill off their most successful IP that millions of people still buy every year. Excellent buisness decision.
Considering the first videogame consisted of nothing but two rectangles and a circle compared to what came out afterwards, I'd say games are better now than what they used to be...
Must be a slow news week.
All I got from this incoherent opinion piece is that the author doesn't like the game because it values gameplay variety over storytelling. This was clearly only written for clicks and posted to cause controversy.
LOL at all the dislikes you got for stating the truth. You can bash Ubisoft all you want for misleading footage, but God forbid you mention a first party Sony developer that uses the same tactics for their E3 demos.
Batman Arkham Knight-10 things it must learn from Origins:
1.Don't release the game at a buggy state, then refuse to to fix it's problems in favor of churning out DLC.
2. Don't shamelessly copy boss battles, side missions, and gadgets from from Arkham City and Asylum. Instead, work on creating original ideas that actually push the series forward.
3.Don't nerf the grapple feature from AC and make it impossible to latch on to ce...
Funniest post I've read all week.
Nothing mentioned in this article sounds like a "big worry". This guy is just nitpicking a 10 minute demo as if that is all the full game has to offer.
And the layout is still awful. Why do I need to click 5 different links to read a few paragraphs?
There isn't. It's April Fools Day.
A high school kid calling a game a waste of time simply because he doesn't have the skill or patience to complete it. If there's any reason not to take journalism seriously, then this is a perfect example.
No game is for everyone. Anyone who purchases a game based solely on popularity and ends up hating it has no one to blame but themselves for not doing research.
Poorly written opinion articles like this are journalisms failure.
Can't go a week without seeing seeing a bunch of strawman arguments from fanboys defending The Order by comparing it to a completely different game that actually has less cutscenes and more gameplay depth.
So people are for not thinking $40 for a five year old game you can find at the $5 bargain bin is a good deal? I'm pretty sure the majority of N4G is pro Sony, so your idiotic MS conspiracy nonsense holds no weight.
You can purchase this game at the bargain bin at Gamestop for less than $5. Yet Sony is charging $40 for this remaster with no new content added. Not only is it unnecessary, but it's a complete ripoff. I really don't understand how the same people that complain about cross gen games, Day One DLC, microtransactions, etc, have absolutely no problem supporting this blatant cash grab.
I find it ironic how the same people on this site who whine about how last gen is holding next gen back and that people on PS3/360 need to move on, have no problem supporting these HD remasters of last gen games(which are essentially cross gen titles) defending them by saying it's for people who couldn't afford last gen consoles and don't want to miss out on playing them.
Worst skin I've ever seen in an Arkham game.
Unsurprising coming from sites like destructoid. They've demonstrated several times that they have no problem using lies and misinformation to make the gaming community look like savages to push their pro feminist agenda.
But I'm more disgusted by the ignorant posters on this site claiming that it's okay to commit suicide solely because someone said something bad about them over the internet.
