Gotta laugh at the hypocrisy and double standards coming from the gaming community concerning the outrage for season passes. Both Witcher 3 and Arkham Knight are selling hours of additional story content behind a paywall, but somehow Witcher 3 is the "exception" solely because it's slightly less expensive despite using the same greedy payment method and offering the same type of content.
This must be the authors first console generation if he thinks graphical downgrades started with Watch Dogs.
There's been plenty of gameplay released.
Microsoft published Minecraft and it's on PS4. I guarantee SE will publish a PS4 version of ROTR shortly after the exclusivity deal ends. They simply can't afford to ignore millions of potential sales.
Minecraft was published by Microsoft but it came to Playstation. Ninja Gaiden 3 was published by Microsoft but it was remade on Playstation as Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Unless they own the IP them publishing the game doesn't mean it is fully exclusive.
Phil Spencer and CD already stated that ROTR is a timed exclusive. And the deal with Microsoft is temporary. If it was a full on Xbox exclusive they would have just flat out said it's not coming to other platforms.
No it isn't worth it. You can buy the entire trilogy for less than half the price of this remaster. Why are people even asking this question? This isn't even debatable.

AC Unity, Destiny, The Order 1886 were some of the most hyped games in the last year they averaged out to mediocre reviews. Witcher 3 didn't recieve nearly the same level as those titles, so that answers your question.
Witcher 3 got good review scores because the majority of critics enjoyed it. This isn't a hard concept to figure out.
The Angry Birds games are free on the App Store. Why would anyone spend money on a console version?

They never explicitly stated it was running on Xbox, and there is hardly any noticeable difference in visual quality between the console retail version and the build shown off on this video, so it was most likely running on console specs. This is literally a non issue.

The majority of AAA games released in the past year have had season passess. Why is this particular title getting the most controversy? Seriously COD AW season pass was like $50. I barely heard a peep about it. The Last of Us, Bioshock, The Evil Within have all had season passess but I don't remember hearing people cancelling their pre-orders because of them. Stopped reading after the author claimed Far Cry 4 was "downgraded" by citing Far Cry 3's E3 demo reveal and retail comparison as proof. That alone should tell you that the majority of this list is purposefully inaccurate and solely created for garnering clicks, if the 15 pages for one paragraph wasn't enough.
It really doesn't look much worse than,a GTA killing spree. It's pretty obvious the developers came up with the concept to generate controversy for what is essentially just an average run of the mill top down shooter we've seen dozens of times already.
