I don't know a lot, but the ones I do know (About 8 of them) were average games at best. MAG was terrible to play. LBP is really good, ModNation is okay, and most of the rest are just average games at best. You can have that garbage, I'll take RPG's and a mixture of just everything instead without 1080p upscaled garbage.
I'm not saying Nintendo games are the best period (I never even play my Wii, mainly my 360), but they just bring more to the table more ofte...
"Donkey Kong 3 is an incredibly simple shooter that provides next to no challenge"
Okay, so you can roll the score on it right? What a terrible critique. Plus, you showed the NES gameplay, not the DK3 gameplay. I also own this arcade game in my basement, it's pretty fun.
I'm sorry, but if it didn't have ZELDA in the for sure, as the game just sucked. The graphics were squarer and more plain than Star Tropics, the controls were TERRIBLE in the caves with the cheap AI, although the sound in the game was GREAT. But, all those considered, still adds up to be a terrible game, as it all isn't based on sound sadly.
Anything Nintendo does will succeed if they keep producing games that are above the competition, as graphics aren't needed as long as they aren't terrible. I mean, there's always those games on Nintendo consoles you just can't get on the others as they'd worry about so much more than the game, it'd make the game terrible. Animal Crossing anyone? Pokemon Snap in the N64 days, Smash Bros., etc. Just can't get the same game play on any competitors as they're all g...
We should care because the small developers who will work on it in small groups and will make games that are much better than anything else. Not to mention more games and for cheaper.
What happened to COD Finest hour? And Big Red One? And EU?!
Were you not playing games in the PS2 days or something?
There is an automatic disability though, streaming sound and unneeded garbage to the controller. I mean, it's probably all inside it's own smaller 8-16MB area in RAM to be serially DMA'd to the screen, but that is STILL another (850*480) 408,000 pixels the 360 and PS3, and even next gen consoles don't HAVE to output. And that's just the screen, add another 128kb to that per second. (128kb to bytes is 131072 bytes, divided by 60(60.1 if you want to get closer) is just over ...
Issues with Android? Like what? Being too open and too stable on the most secure kernel in the world? Rightttttt.
And responses to the article:
Nobody needs to learn how to use the Tegra 3 chip, it's a high level language, the Google Java bytecode takes care of 99% of it if you program your games to use libraries...err, classes, like you're supposed to.
Finding good content is going to highest rated or most played like on Android righ...
Don't know if you can understand this, but they'll get it on any platform that will make them a single penny.
It's the same as an Android phone with no screen or anything, hardly interesting.
It means you got out skilled by something, human or otherwise. It means you are inferior. That, people, is why games are not just games. They're a gauge of your intelligence in the situation you're put in.
Why, these stupid comments
So stupid
And Chrono Trigger, Illusion of Gaia, Secret of Evermore, Terranigma, and so many more! And, each of those beat the snot out of the garbage they make today. It's such a shame.
But at least we still have them to play...and they won't ever be taken away.
That might be a ton of money, but that's a ton of brand new games. I think the price is high, but more in the realm of reasonable...if you also make a mid-range 6-figure income and have THAT much disposable. :P
That's exactly it. Tablet it'd be okay, but a desktop needs a OS with, well, a DESKTOP. Look at what Ubuntu users did when Unity came about, they jumped ship and slammed it so badly they had to put GNOME back in it. But not with Windows it won't happen, most users just sit down without even knowing what the OS is and just click things and say "Ooo, it's different, neat!" instead of choosing the one that is logical for getting stuff done.
Square Soft and Enix of the 8/16bit era made themselves by producing great games like Chrono Trigger, FF III, Illusion of Gaia, EVO, Terranigma, Star Ocean, Secret of Mana, and Breath of Fire (to name a couple decent games). Then they combined forces after they both forgot you have to have a great story in conjunction with great controls and great game play to make a great game. Now they just make generic RPG's and are saving a remake of a game called Final Fantasy VII for when they want ...
You're getting disagrees? What a shame, people are complete nincompoops.
20 more people? That's stupidly untrue. They just need more time for the 60 people to get the game done. More people doesn't mean better development time or cycle, it just means they want to get a game done quick. They need to just keep plugging away and produce good games, period.
And does it matter how long it takes? I'd take a good game every few years than a crappy one every year.
And they're probably working on their own game engine to wo...
Because DLC is supposed to be worked on after a game is released and they couldn't fit it in. Not on the disk only used as a tool for prying more money from your pockets with their soul-less hands. When I buy a game/disk, I buy THE WHOLE DISK if you like it or not. If you disagree, go f yourself.
I find the user reviews to be great, while the ones from their real critics are very, very incorrect most of the time.
