Maybe they want to make sure it's not another reach. Crap game, no maps, DLC-ruined POS. And if it is like reach content-wise with lots of it being planned to be filled out that way, I hope everyone pirates it. $60+maybe $10 for a tiny bit of extra content is fine, but when you include half a game for $60 and DLC out all the extra content, that's CRAP.

Honestly, comparing COD4 to each more modern COD, I still personally like COD4 looks a lot better. It looks like it has much higher resolution/better looking textures. While games like Black Ops looks like they took all the textures, and blurred them all.

Apparently you haven't heard about Homebrew for older consoles. Or Indie games for PC and such.
It's HIGHLY regulated. Yeah, it more so is up to the developers, although some buttons HAVE to do certain things. There's thousands of hours of programming added to software making sure it does those things to get it certified.

Well I guess I look at it differently. If you look at it as a entertainment device, yeah it's a lot. Yeah I'd go with a console too. But as somebody who works on computer 6+ hours a day for my hobbies with also produce some money along with entertainment, it's a great investment.
But still, $1000 is nothing for a device that will last you 6+ years of good use. Much less than those Alienwares.
