The "blind hate" for it is not not blind, but you apparently are.
No, no ESRB is needed at all. $5000 for a game rating? They can do crawl a grave and stay on consoles as it's not needed by law or by the small companies trying to get by making games on smart phones and such. Who ever made this article is very stupid to think making small companies pay to even try to succeeded on a whim is retarded.
Yeah, 10GB of Video RAM gives it away all day. That would take WAY too long to load textures and such into and would without a doubt bottleneck with a 3.2Ghz processor. I'd say 3GB VRAM on the next console, with 2GB for textures. Any more than that, upto 4, probably won't ever happen at this point in time. And 4GB CPU RAM on top, any more or less would be bad for price or developers, so I'd say 4GB most likely on both sides of the CPU/GPU.
Super Mario World, simple, fun, classic platforming at its best.
Who cares how powerful it is? It'll do 1080P on any game out today on PC or console, so who cares? Besides, there's a limit of what your eyes and ears can see and here. Both of those have basically been reached, so anything over 2x as powerful as current consoles will be the absolute limit of all your senses, and everything else is just extra bonus for keeping a solid 60FPS.
You mean there's problems on release that'll be gone in 2 weeks? Oh my, this has NEVER happened before ever! /s
A text based game should be a nice week project in javascript with canvas. In fact, I'd give it a try if somebody made it.
Any disagree to the comment above me must have just hit the wrong button, as that is 100% a cold hard fact.
Yeah, but then you lose your right to chose after that because you tie all your stuff to apple software. If you chose Mac, you're a uneducated idiot with lots of money to blow stupidly.
If it was too hard to use, maybe you're just too lazy. You should have went with Ubuntu as it'll run side by side with Windows on your PC and it's not an over priced, locked down apple product. You're a fan boy if you can justify spending 3x as much for 1/2 the product. Heck, Macs even run Windows (Well, IBM) hardware now. They're in no way different from Windows computers now.
"that runs at 60 frames per second."
translates to:
"Why sacrifice a tiny bit of fluidity my eyes can't even see to improve everything else?"
You guys use that "60 fps" line all the time because that's the only thing you can bring up that you can even think about. I guess playing a good game at 30Hz is less important than playing a piece of crap at 60fps. Pics below to show off JUST visually the MAJOR imp...
I have developed games for NES, and have been programming for a while in many languages, especially lower level ones. Vita can eat the big console version of any COD game, no question.
It has been used in games that run good but just aren't made good. What it was used in means nothing. Looking at the games it powers, it looks very flexible and a good choice.
Any other game. If you can't see through the stupidity of buying so many games for the same thing in a different costume by now, you'll always fight is because you'll never see the light. You'll never see a game that actually is vastly better than it's predecessor.
Whoever disagrees is in some hardcore denial.
I believe the community disassembles the program back into a usable source. You have no excuse not to be adding those if you really wanted to. Get on it or don't tell them what they need to do with their game.
Nice, Paper Mario and Animal Crossing will be awesome. I just hope it's not the terrible "Super" Paper Mario game! D:
ETA:Just checked, no 3D crap there, although it doesn't look as fun, but eh, I'll take it.
You can be as innovative as you want, but COD4 is the best GAME with the best GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCE, the only thing that matters.
No, Treyarch games are still just as terrible as they were after COD4. And IW games have been in the decline too. People just accept it now to be cool with gaming with COD, like owning a Wii basically 5 years ago. I mean, how many people have you heard say "I like blackops" and how many times did you hear others say "I only play for zombies."? I've only met a few people that even like black ops, most only play the zombies mode anyway.
That's funny, because Anders was crazy. I don't see how you can say a mentally unstable person is a good precedent to use as evidence because a normal person would never do such things in the first place. The first part is probably true, depending on the person, but the 2nd with how they will cause you to be violent is nothing but a load of garbage.
