I love the Earthbound/Chrono Trigger/Snow Bros./Bubble Bobble 2 soaps.

Linux will probably be the choice for most gamers once it hits and games start to roll out for it. It's free, so you can dump the $200 from the Windows cost if you don't care about dual booting. It's more efficient over all, more secure, open source, FREE, everything. Calling Linux and their OS's a failure because 95% of people don't use it isn't right, because just 2 years ago, nobody used Chrome, and it follows the same principles. Plus, all servers already use Linux...
>Hates COD rehashes.
>Believes Treyarch does better work on the series.
Yep, you should definitely not be able to spend your own money, because you are a sheep. Plus you won't need anywhere near that graphics card to run COD. A mobile 4250 should work fine for it. Lol.
That's funny...there are plenty of RPG's from the 16-bit ear and even before that deserve to be remade. And not in the crappy ruining way either.
For a valid topic? Right.
Homebrew (or indie gaming, for newer systems the independent people wiggle their way on to) is really where it's at for good games. If NES homebrew is anything to go by, most of it is far better quality than games even made during the systems lifetime. That says something.
Oh no I know how to use the gnome fall back, I just hate the OS includes it in general. Unity is a terrible interface, especially when you're a programmer like me and want to get to your programs quickly. It adds more clicks, takes Much more CPU than 10.04 with GNOME, and it just over all bad.
And before I was too into Ubuntu, the 11.04 version with Unity is what I started on. I eventually went to the "no effects" mode on boot up hoping it would make it more sta...
A fat joke a day keeps Half-Life 3 away!
I agree too. BUT....
...the main linux distro Ubuntu (as of 11.04) is trying to use Unity as the main UI. Unity is also a catastrophe, in bugs AND it just being a terrible interface. 10.04 (GNOME) for life.
Gonna disagree with the article. Game stops service is hit or miss, mostly miss. BUT, the prices and trade in values are still complete trash everywhere. Terrible place to go if you want games, unless you're supporting a company and want to buy it new.
And so what if it's not the best best PC hardware? How is that not better than more powerful systems with mostly crap games. That's all publishers will fund to create because not doing so is dangerous. PC isn't as bad, but there's still not the amount of great games as many consoles gone by.
And the hardware was being shown being played, via controller, on an HD TV. It's not an idea, it already exists.
That's complete garbage, it may be different OS versions, but they exist to maximize the usability of each product and small upgrade. Like Ubuntu has a 6 month release cycle, but OS's from years ago still are 100% compatible with current 12.04 version.
Plus, who are you going to go with besides Google? Apple? Your phone will be cut off in 6 months because the new one came out, not even because of hardware or anything, only because you haven't contributed a ton of ...
Get a used launch model and don't pay for PS1 games because they want you to.
I love the box art for the Genesis/Mega Drive homebrew Pier Solar. The game is good but all the audio and visuals are amazing.

lol.
Sockboy, show me that you own some original titles to compare them too, because the new games they pump out are garbage compared to the originals. I've only played the demo because I'm not an idiot to spend money to gamble on Microsofts remakes, and Banjo Kazooie demo was the 2nd thing I downloaded when I got my Xbox.
I have about 40 N64 Games out of picture of my collection attached, but I own and have played Banjo Kazooie and Tooie, 007 Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Jet ...
"Rare games on he xbox are pretty awesome."
-sockboy, 1.1.6 comment.
That's the STUPIDEST thing I've heard about this. RARE games right before and forever after Nintendo sold the brand to Microsoft were all complete garbage! No game was a tenth of what their original games were. Banjo, Conkrs, Perfect Dark, 007, etc all sucked compared to the original games and even as stand alone titles.
I wouldn't say the hardware has to look different, it just has to be more drastic than the PS3 big to slim. And I agree, NES redesign was insane and better in quality than the toaster. The reason it's not on the list is the list sucks, honestly. Only reason.
ETA: Also, great one below me, SP destroyed the original GBA. Although, only the late SP's. The early ones had a terrible back light still, wasn't much better.
Honestly, I agree with the guy above me. BAD idea, considering that engine for BFBC2 is 10x better than the engine that was with the console versions that looks terrible, is way too clunky, and is just all around worse.
I don't think these jobs relate to much, except Microsoft just getting more people. But even if it did mean they're gearing up for something..it'd be Windows 8 and all future products.
