I'm still confused. The article kept referring to Katamari and Beautiful Katamari, but I didn't know whether "Katamari" was referring to the original game, or if they're just truncating the "Beautiful Katamari" title. =/
Because in this case it's a feature that does not depend on a port (Home functionality).
Yeah, like for the demos, you'd be required to buy an HDD, so I mean it cannot match what is offered via Live unless they expected every Wii owner to bust out on upgrades.
I preordered Lair, speaking of Lair. I'm hoping they tweak the motion control and make the game deeper than it seems at the moment (in terms of gameplay), I think that is the current criticism of the game. But I'm a sucker for dragons and fire and whatever. =)
I don't know about this. I don't think Nintendo can just jump in and beat Xbox Live. Xbox Live is well established, Nintendo I believe is the farthest behind on online play? I can't remember, haven't played the Wii in a while.
Kotaku was speculating based on the crowd activity at the time they got hold of those pictures, which was sometime before the actual launch.
Even though I'm not a big racing fan I think PGR is great.

Somewhat agree with the above, Forza has some leads on this game. I think Forza was better graphically but I can't remember those comparisons
Yeah I remember YH talking about this earlier too. Hopefully they integrate it at some point after launch. Having trophies for beating MN with good karma would be nice.
It's weird how the first set of pictures seems empty, and the second set is so lively. I assume the first set was taken a margin of time prior to the event.

@honeal: Yeah I think the big hitters are definitely going to come from Microsoft and Sony, but the Wii will still sell blisteringly fast anyway. Hopefully for the Wii Metroid and Brawl are good.

I didn't go through reading everything, but I agree with what was said about Wii's "friend codes." It was along the lines of: you're just as anonymous under the alias "MadHatter 6" as you are with the code 123-123-123-1234.
In other words, it should just allow adding via aliases as Live and PSN do.

That's perfectly fine man, I respect your opinion. I usually tell people that if they have and are happy with their 360s, but are interested in a PS3, to not buy one now and get one when there's more to offer.

I think that it is good if they did such a thing. The newer models would have the heatsink, and repaired ones should get it. I don't see why this would angry anyone, if they can improve it by doing so they should.
