Hmm, I don't know what to say about the many reportings, but the article has a point. I do agree that the Church really does not have any grounds on what they are pursuing. Whether his argument is good or not is up for anyone to decide, not going to comment on its integrity (just skimmed through it, not in the mood to analyze).

I'm not good with numbers, but it did far better than COD3, which I guess means something good then? I'd expect weekly sales to be pretty decent. The Eternal Sonata game of course did the best though. (Of the 3 mentioned titles.)
Assuming it's true then yes, it could be interesting to see what becomes of it.
I'd say most people who want the 360 would rather get the higher end. There is no choice for the Wii. I think it's probably most accurate to say the selling point is a combination of the price and the wii sports/wiimote appealing to casual gamers.
Personally I'm not too keen on this type of motion control, so I wouldn't buy this product. I also doubt it will help to sell the 360/PS3 to people who like the Wii -- those people already have the option of the Wii at a lower price ...
From speculation on the forum it seems to be related to climate. Hopefully I'm in a good climate??
The problem does not concern the bottom cover layer but rather the coating in between that and the top layer. And I can only remember similar problems on DVDs when it was newer, but I cannot recall the exact similarity to this problem. For now I'm just glad my 3 month old Departed disc seems fine...
Checked my copy of The Departed. It appears to be water marked, but it always has been like that and it's always played fine. No sign of any deterioration, but this problem seems to be mostly from "The Prestige." I guess I'll not buy that unless further information about this comes to light.

Well that's good, I was worried about using Guncon with my LCD HDTV at first. But the screen is small, so I'll have to try it out before making a purchase decision.
