I still play Resistance, but I doubt I'll buy the maps as I'm not that frequent of an online player.
Yup. No ports. If they were to do anything they'd make a spin off or entirely different game on PS3, assuming NG2 is on 360.
You can always mute voice chat. Better to just buy a headset though, then have everyone's trash talk come out of your TV's speakers.
Good point, sounds logical. Seems like an HD DVD loyalist disagrees with you however. (Or simply a Blu-ray hater.)
It'd be unfortunate if the demo came out late July/August, but at least Sigma is out next week, so there's something to play until Lair. =)
" -Voice chat through TV speakers if you don't have a microphone "
Good, now all those stupid noobs that LAARK everyone can hear the insults everyone throws at them.
They're doing that with some HD DVD releases. Probably would be a good idea if Blu-ray did too. I know I'd probably buy more BD movies.
The DS Lite is a Japanese monster. Almost 100 thousand above the Wii...
Definitely as far as DVD players go. I use my PS3 for BD/DVD in my room, but the rest of the house has at least 3 or 4 DVD players. I think when it comes to BD-ROM playback that people will generally just have a PS3 or a Blu-ray player rather than both, at least at this point in time.
This is a decent idea for those who are not sure which format will win. But they'll still need to purchase a Blu-ray or HD DVD player to play it.
Exception: Combo player, but those are more expensive.
Agreed again. Good to see more people who care about games rather than console superiority.
He asks the question "how many attacks are in the game?," which tells us:
a) he doesn't know.
b) he has no grounds for an argument.
Clearly you know nothing about the game, the previewers basically state that the attack/combo system is more plentiful than what they had expected.
About time! I was awaiting a mindless fanboy to click on the disagree.
I think it'll do a good job at utilising the Cell, but it'll take time before we see developers maximizing its abilites. I think Eggebrecht (if that's how you spell it) said himself that they'll just be scratching the surface of what they can do this time around.
I still expect some greatness to come from this.
Having friends that live close by with other systems certainly is good eh?
I have two close-by friends with 360s, and another with the Wii. So we rotate around when good games come out.
(I guess fanboys do not even read what they are disagreeing to. That, or they are so infatuated with their 1 console that they would NEVER go to a buddy's to play one of the others. Behold, these are the lowlifes who epitomize fanboyism.)
At least it's confirmed (the release date), I was getting annoyed at it slowly rising every now and then. A week later than it was before, but I'll be on vacation anyway so I can't pick it up till the end of August. Oh well, hopefully the demo is in early July.
Nice, a fanboy went through this article giving most of us disagrees. How sad, probably has nothing better to do =).
Snoop man, you make some logical comments. I agree with what you said, I also expect a more levelled playing field this time around. The only one I cannot say I'm sure of is the Wii, whether it will continue to soar or die down fast we'll have to see.
Be that as it may, it is still not in favour of the PS3. Besides, you clearly felt it necessary to bring up its inferiority, I'm simply calling you out on it.
Fanboys, the idiocy they possess I cannot even fathom.
@3.7: You misunderstand. I'm speaking of support for the system. MS stopped support for it quickly after the 360 was released, and within months no new games were being developed, aside from a few that showed up on all consoles (games that were on PS2, Xbox, 360 and PS3), and even still, soon after Xbox support was wholly pulled. Yet, the PS2 is still getting many of those games. Hell, if Manhunt 2 actually is released, that'll be another good game for PS2 owners.
@3.6: Those c...
And more than 61K over the 360? Good way to start flaming out of nothing, huh?
So are you a Wii fanboy, or what? Not many of those on this site.
oh and I didn't disagree with you, numbers are numbers.
