i saw the words final fantasy and 7 in the same sentence, and i got really excited. then i read it again and was disappointed.
man do i disagree.
first of all mgs4 has outsold fable2 easily. so best selling exclusives would be gears2 and mgs4.
secondly there are 5 xbla titles out of the 16 top rated that xbox has, and 2 psn titles. these games are not full retail games, and have a smaller review base, and probably should be omitted.
thirdly hardware sales have been in ps3s favor all year, and will only be passed during the holiday season. considering the price difference, i s...
it really depends on what your definition of "win" is
360 is probably going to outsell the ps3 this year in hardware sales, but only by a tiny fraction; i believe ps3 is up right now, but probably will lose after the holiday season.
360 fans may say that is a victory for xbox, and ps3 fans may say that it is a victory for sony, considering the price difference and generally good sales all throughout the year.
ps3 seems to have more exclusives a...
now i dont really like gears either but...
you get a disagree, -bubbles, and report for being offensive to the homosexual community, and really anyone that isnt a homophobe.
funny how bladestar took the effort to add his own little anti-ps3 plug in his comment.
i personally find it interesting that gears hasnt decimated halo in terms of live users. i thought xbox fans loved that game.
that was an awesome vid, except i had no idea what the hell was going on. lol.
wow, seriously? to sephiroth master chief looks like a crying 6 year old little girl. seriously, master chief is about as heroic as a c0ckroach.
its a shame that you cant take any more bubbles away from pp
fire
fire2
fire3
were only in the american/eu versions, i believe. the japanese seem to take to the naming system, but apparently the americans and europeans get confused.
i disagree. many of the recent titles, like ff12 and infinite undiscovery have dropped the turn based combat for a more real time battle system, and theyve lost many loyal fans because of it. i honestly think that there are many more traditionalists that would rather stick to the turn based menu battle system than adopt a completely real time battle system. theyd lose my patronage if they did.
although i agree that last remnant is buggy, the fact that it is has no bearing on whether or not the ps3 is hard to program for or not. sorry just had to fault your logic.
its fire, fira, firaga, and one more after that in the more recent final fantasies, but i forgot what its called. its not that difficult if you are using them on a regular basis. and even so, just pick the one at the bottom of the list, its bound to be the most powerful. =D
mmm... im going to have to disagree.
ff12 took the series away from the traditional menu turn based battle systems, and it got a lot of critical discourse for it. i enjoyed the game, but i by no means wish to see jrpgs go the way for real time battles. menu, turn based systems make for a much more strategic, fun game. i think the real time battles cater more towards western audiences, who seem to have a much shorter attention span. infinite undiscovery, i believe, had gamepla...
he stated at the end of one of the first paragraphs that hes only counted "full figured polygonal babes" or osmething like, and not sprites, and directly apologizes to mai. although mai has been depicted as a sprite in a few handheld games, she was fully drawn and animated in the ps2 fatal fury games. shed be #1 in my book. lol.
a console rumble, althouhg it sounds fun, would be a horrible idea for the market, imo. multiplatform games would take FOREVER to develop because they would have to program for like, 4-5 consoles. if that were to happen, id forsee everyone picking up a handful of 1st party studios and everyone would just make exclusives, which would screw everyone other than those who can afford to buy 5 systems.
this is not going to end well...
these sites and articles are ment to cater towards their respective fanbases, not fans of consoles across the board, and thus should not be posted on n4g, in my opinion.
todays technological generation is all about instant gratification.
bluray fails because it did not instantly take over the dvd market! /sarcasm
this console generation will last less than 5 years! /sarcasm
bd tech has only been out for 2-3 years now, and as many people have point out it has a higher adoption rate than dvd did back in the day. but all the fanboys here want to make it look like bluray fails because they somehow associate bluray with sony...
again, they are not flops.
if you are referring to commercial "flops" then you should put left4dead on that list too, its "only" sold a 1/4m since it launched. and r2 just launched this week in eu, the biggest ps3 base. you obviously have absolutely no idea what a "flop" is, so shut your pie hole, fanboy.
lbp and r2 were FLOPS?!
lol!
in what sense? commercially? which have absolutely no bearing on whether a game is good or not? on top of that, neither of those games are doing poorly, they arent doing 2m in the first day, of course, but they are selling fine. cod5 definitely should be off, based on critical opinions, and definitely replaced by either lbp or r2. both of those titles are BIG, and definitely a better buy than cod5. hell, imo they should have left on...
lol i disagreed, but that still made me laugh. kudos.
