just because they can bang out garbage on the 360 doesnt mean that they they are having trouble programming for the ps3. ff13 is their baby, possibly their only chance for greatness this generation, theyre not going to rush it out into shovelwareville like they didnt with last remnant.
i doubt that, really. that game did over 100k in japan the first week, which is decent. they arent going to cancel for ps3 because the japan market will eat it up, no matter now bad the game is, and since the install rate in japan is 3:1 theyd be crazy to not realease it on ps3.

fallout3 is not really that great of a game. i am a hardcore fan of the series, and was EXTREMELY disappointed when i played it. dont get me wrong, its decent fun, but at the same time it has lost SO much compared to its predecessors. i wholehearted think they made a GRAVE mistake in making it 1st person/shooter and adding in the vats. a lot of people seem to like the vats system, i HATE it. its really a sad excuse of integration of the targeting sys...

that is an excellent question, i was wondering the same thing. the only gow that i played is the first, and i only rented it so i didnt even get that far. im thinking about renting the first two ps2 games to catch up, and i just got chains of olympus, but im nto sure in what order i should play them. ir anyone can shed some light on the subject id be grateful.
these screens look a lot more impressive in high def. i think the only pictures that dont blow me away are the first few of kratos. but really, after that they start to look really good. not as good as the trailer, mind you, but still very impressive, especially considering we are about a year form the launch.

same, i had connection errors this afternoon, but i came back after work and everything booted up fine, without a hitch. in fact, i was expecting that all the traffic was going to bring the psn down, but was presently surprised how smooth everything is running.
you said yourself that home cannot be compared to nxe, and i totally agree.
but you go on saying that its useless that it makes you want an easier interface blah blah. then use it! the xmb is STILL the main UI for the ps3, home is just, as you said, a social application, and if you dont want to use it, then dont. the xmb works perfectly fine, and its probably faster and more efficient than the nxe(sans the blades, if you are already accustomed to it).

just pointing out that r2 released nov28 in europe, the ps3s biggest market. this sales are mainly for the us. not saying that they arent low, but considering almost half of the ps3 base is in europe, that could be a reason
