I can just give you some recorded gameplay of BF4 on my PC if you would like. It runs at 60+fps just like the next gen consoles.
Although I'm playing in 1440p, 4x the 720p resolution of PS4/X1.
So maybe it would just disappoint you. :P
I very much enjoy Killzone Mercenary. It's a fantastic game. I already got the Platnium and continue to play it. Maybe I'm just biased because I was such a huge fan of Killzone 2.
The only other gaming device I own outside the vita currently is my PC. It's pretty high end with 1440p res monitor (80% more than 1080p). It eats games up and while I have been playing a lot of BF4 beta on it, I still continue to play and enjoy Killzone on the Vita.

When I had a 680 (very closed to 770) and 1080p monitor, Witcher 2 with uber sampling wouldn't even hit 30fps. On my 780 with a 1150mhz clock again Witcher 2 with uber sampling won't hit 30fps, granted that is 1440p but still.
Yea well see. I was using BF4 as a example. I was actually having really bad stuttering. Re-enabling my hyperthreading fixed it though and smoothed it out. But going forward from this point on, the performance will only get worse in newer games. Even within the next 6 months. Witcher 3 is going to be a freaking rig molester...

But what are you talking about??? If I am getting 60fps with dips on a monitor that is capable of outputting 96fps, why would a 2nd 780 be a waste.

I hope this is true because I really want to add a second 780! It's a powerful card but I run 1440p at 96hz and I'm starting to see it's limitations. BF4 drops down to 45fps or so, even though avg is 60-65fps. I need more power....must hit 96fps output capabilities of monitor!!!!!
Although If I add another 780 I am going to add both to my cpu h20 loop. So we'll see what "lower" prices are because the watercooling accessories won't be cheap.

And sure, your right about the 64 player to VRAM link but it's still kind of negligible compared to other factors in the end imo, Especially given the fact that nothing has changed in that aspect since BF3 yet I use almost a whole extra gig in BF4.

For the most part you are right about the VRAM although 64 players has NOTHING to do with the VRAM.
Also I think your 1080p at 1.5gb claim is bogus unless you have a lot of settings back downed. I use 2.7gb maxed at 1440p. You need over 2gb at least even for 1080p. Proof...

Yea exactly. You can build a PC that is more powerful than this for half the price. It would also not be proprietary like one of these Pistons so any future upgrades would be a snap. Not to say you can't upgrade with the Piston but you have buy presetup "daughterboards" from Xi3. So you rely completely on them for upgrades and the hardware will probably be just as lackluster and overpriced as the base model is.
