Like I said it's just not the same situation as the PS3. The PS3 had some real issues with production at launch. They only shipped 400k to NA. Now they are set to ship over 10 million PS4s on launch day, maybe up to 15 million. That's overal global numbers but still it dwarfs the PS3 numbers in comparison.

Just because there are a few fanboys that are obsessed with nothing but graphics doesn't mean that's all PC gamers care about.
There are tons of popular PC games that do NOT fit in to the criteria you are explaining. Minecraft for example, which was on the pc for years before the console couterparts and probably would have never come to consoles if it wouldn't have became so popular on the PC in the first place.

Not really. It's just Nvidia's rip of the 7970 ghz edition. They added a non-reference cooler and OC'd it a bit. Big deal. Hell the vapor chamber they had on the reference models were fine for pretty much any max clocks a 780 could achieve.

Titanfall would be the only game that would really compel me to have a X1. Luckily I have a pretty nice gaming PC.

I agree with you. I sold my ps3 and 360 about two years ago and have been gaming pretty much exclusively on my PC (picked up a Vita a few months ago though).

Exactly. Youtube only outputs 30fps and their compression on the videos really puts a damper on the crispness of full 1080p+ visuals.
As it stands right now, youtube is NOT a good representation of X1/PS4/PC gameplay.

You can have 20gb of VRAM and you will still have a bottleneck at resolutions above 1440p with the 256 bit memory interface.
Just go 780/ti/titan or with one of the new AMD cards if you are trying to game at higher resolutions.
Like I said if you enjoy it and are still holding out on it then your only hurting your investment with the Vita.
Consumer purchasing power is real. The Vita is struggling. If developers can't even get people that enjoy a game on the system to buy it then they really have no use to waste their time on the system.

I've gotten both myself and my roommate pretty much brand new Vitas for around $120 with a bit of searching. You can also get bundles of whatever people are selling for pretty good deals too. For example I saw the Assassins Creed White edition Vita bundle with the game and the 4gb card about a week ago on ebay. It had been used once and it had a buy it now price of $140 shipped.
