You're just embracing the corporate dilution of gaming in #6 and #9 (the part about mobile phone gaming). The success of CoD is nothing to be happy about.
Downloadable content is by and large just another of those things that game companies make us think we want and need, but we don't, they're just a sly grab at extra revenue.
Definitely had more of backlog on previous generation consoles. The Ps1 had 2,418 games, and the Ps2 had 3,857 games. The ...
Definitely intentional.
The atheism of today in large part is just a cultural phenomenon that's accompanied modernity, capitalism, and industrialisation. These things instil utilitarian values in people, and people start spouting scientific dogma. In this postmodern society in which the individual is the measure of all things (relativism), we are freed from a transcendent order that encompasses us all, this however engenders disenchantment with the order of things (all things animate and inanimate) and thus the ...
Gotta be Project Zwei. A new call of cthulhu game would be ace though.
It's like Dynasty Warriors mixed with Monster Hunter and maybe God Eater.
Stop talking about "religion" when all you're really talking about is christianity. Christianity, as a set of principles isn't such a bad thing, it's the people who build ideology out of it and distort it's meaning to justify terrible things that are bad. (i.e. european colonialism / Puritans / American Slavery etc.)
What about Buddhism and Hinduism? Both fine, and both highly spiritually enriching. As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing w...
The real problem is that developers think games have to aspire more and more to absolute fidelity with reality. I don't understand that impulse. With the technology we've got we can make visually impressive and striking games, just look at Okami and El Shaddai. The graphics drive has the implicit goal of achieving realism, which is totally vacuous and pointless. We should be using the tech to create more intersting and creative things, and also not allowing that tech to become a juven...
Hooray!!
Kojima telling it like it is!
If all that's true then it's great for the Xbox crowd and the new Xbox'll probably do well after all, but this leak is highly dubious. A lot of the posts on Neogaf make good points as to why this is the case. It isn't hard to make up stuff like this. Just reverse all the "bad" features and dress it up like you're an insider. It's credibility is really hurt by the vitriolic fanboy parts at the start.
Still, wait for actual confirmation. It'...
Is it actually any good? I sort of don't understand the hype for this game, with the exception of the music it looks sort of meh to me. I feel like the hype is just people who desperately want more games for their Vita. I mean I own a Vita myself, and I like it. Virtue's Last Reward is just the best, but this game doesn't seem that special. Anyone want to try and convince me?
Can't wait to play this. SMT is one of the best jrpg series ever.
No PsOne? Or does Ps2 cover that? Ps2 had a PsOne emulator in it though...
Right, so the usual acting oligarchy. How about scoping some new talent? Also I agree with the comment above that this should be a CG film.
Lotta work for a prototype.
He's also wearing a very similar outfit to the one he wears in The Two Thrones: http://upload.wikimedia.org...
Forgotten sands was an interquel- between The Sands of Time and Warrior Within, so perhaps this is an interquel between Warrior Within and The Two Thrones??
Wonder who's publishing if not Sony?
Sands of Time and Warrior Within (except it's soundtrack) were incredible games, they should just return to that imagining.
Then again it'd probably be to similar to Assassin's Creed.
Whoa whoa whoa just saw the screens. That looks awesome. Definitely a Prince of Persia game.
Nah, you can't just let these publishers be the gatekeepers of what gets put out there. I mean think of the CoD franchise. The same shit year in year out, the same fetishising of warfare as well as the glorification of the state of war- rendering it into entertainment.
Shooting hundreds of innocent people in an airport, and watching a child getting blown-up. All these things are rendered as entertainment in CoD games by a big games corporation. Sure they're disturbin...
Fuck.
