I'm sure Square Enix are well aware of the negativity surrounding XIII. People don't need to repeat themselves anymore. It's always the effing same on these comment sections like Hingle says. "I hate lightning nobody likes lightning give me Versus DERP." It probably get's posted like hundreds of thousands of times a day. SE are definitely aware of it. So enough.

Watchdogs looks like it has some really awesome gameplay, but I think GTA V will probably have the superior world, characters and story.
However, Just Cause 3 is probably on par with GTA V for me as the most anticipated game of it's kind.

I'd love if SE managed to cross XIII with Versus. There's potential there for some pretty clever and amazing storytelling. I doubt they'll do it though...
Maybe the similar looking armor is intentional for other reasons. Perhaps has something to do with the mythos, as in the girl in the Versus trailer has the armor for similar reasons to Lightning.

Regarding point 1: How can you hold someone accountable who didn't have a choice? Who lost their mind? You can't really offload all responsibility onto them, that's pretty insensitive and intolerant.
