I don't know, the outdoor environment shown really reminded me of Ground Zeroes. This could just be a teaser for it.

The phantom pain corresponds pretty neatly to: "From fox two phantoms were born", a tagline for Ground Zeroes.

Also it's possible the operation that Big Boss underwent in the trailer was part of the cloning procedure.

Phantom Pain is usually related to so called phantom limbs, a phenomena in which you feel pain where an amputated limb used to be.

I'm thinking this video is like the operation in which they tried to clone Big Boss or something.

The phantom pain could refer to the loss the clones feel at being lesser versions of something, or which Big Boss feels at having lost a part of himself (his hand / forearm) for cloning.

Haytham's a toff, and he's so cheesy. So many of his lines belong in some anachronistic period drama. Connor's a really strong character, I just don't get the hate.

Plus I thought the twist was really well done, and it was a relief to not have to play as Haytham anymore, you play as him for way too long and his missions are largely pretty lacklustre.

Heavy Rain is less a videogame, more just a bad film.

Voicework's pretty bad, shoddy dialogue, the writing's terrible and pretty juvenile (Origami killers and Alternate reality sunglasses), the music's not bad but it's used in such an unimaginative way.

I mean, a seriously overrated game.

There are elements of games that might be called art: the visual design, the music, the storytelling. But the interactivity is different. Ho...

The ending was the most rushed thing I've ever played. Zero dramatic effect.

Also is Desmond really dead? I know the thing was supposed to kill him, and he is shown lying on the ground motionless, but we aren't shown anything after that. Plus there's tht point that you still play as Connor for the epilogue. And you're definitely still in the animus given the whole pivot thing.

I own the game on the Ps3, but I kind of feel thankful for the first load of DLC being kind of meh. I don't feel like I'm missing out.

Dragonborn though... I hope they find a way to get it to the Ps3.

Urgh, there's something nauseatingly pretentious about this.

“The concept is, ‘Is the power of Curiosity enough to drive the world?,’” says Molyneux.

I mean, I don't think there's any doubt that human beings are curious, probably by nature. Half the sh!t we do is out of curiosity- trying to figure out where we are, who are and what it's all about. I mean it's just such a non-question.

Well Lorne Balfe's not exactly an unknown, and he did do like half the soundtrack to Revelations. But yeah, they shouldn't have lost Kyd.

They do all have a main theme, it's just a different one for each game. I dunno I think the music's pretty great overall. Losing Kyd wasn't a great idea though, Lorne Balfe seems only to be able to make big orchestral numbers.

Yeah you're right about those, but during the Charles Lee mission where you go on board the HMS Jersey, anyone you knock out with your fists is added to the tally of "kills" as part of the constraint. I think there's a few other examples.

Complaints big and small in no particular order:

Boston and New York were sort of indistinguishable from one another and were kind of bland. Not nearly as beautiful a setting as the cities of the previous games.

The ending / final act was super rushed and written pretty poorly. (From getting hit by the cannonballs onwards)

It was nearly impossible to be fluidly sneaky in a lot the forts. Enemies detected you way too easily. I spent hours just...

He left out games like Time Travellers (the superior version), and Final Fantasy Type-0, which will probably be localized and released on the Vita.

Also the superior version of Virtue's Last Reward which just got released. Everyone should play 999, and everyone should play Virtue's Last Reward.

AC Liberation got really mixed reviews so I'd say it's up to people to try that one themselves.

Well you don't really know how they've implemented it. It could be really good.

Plus I don't think you should be considering this game as a conventional RPG. Seems like more of an action-RPG.
