Sony has more 1st/2nd party devs than MS. You know what that means? They have more 1st/2nd party games than MS. Why's that important? Simple.
You know why MS could afford to spend 30 million dollars on advertising Halo 3? Because they didn't have another dozen 1st party games they also needed to advertise. They just. Had. Halo. They could afford it, because they had nothing else they needed to advertise with that money.
Now, compare that to Sony. They have ...
MS normally doesn't like applying what I'm sure they see as the "f-word" to their products. This is good news for 360 gamers, because this seems like it'll be a lot of fun!
Didn't we at PSLS already speak on the plans for the PSP?
Why do people keep bringing up things that people did who no longer work at PSLS? And why bring up the past anyway? I remember a time where I couldn't ride a bike. Does that mean I can't do it now? Of course not.
You're so busy looking at the ancient past that you're not paying attention to the present. Exclusive interviews with Jeff over at the PlayStation.Blog (and he has linked to several of our articles on the PSB), we got the Magic Ball developers to come do an article ...
That it is. Not a bad guess though. I don't think anyone will get it before it's announced. Truthfully, I think it's kinda dumb.
Yes, you're right, they did. Owners of the original controller just had to buy a new DualShock, which was about $40. New controller. Not a new ~$200 console. There's a subtle difference.
Did you guys notice Sly's insignia on Cole's backpack?
They don't want to divide the PSP crowd. All future PSP games will be able to be played on any of the PSP hardware, but if they added a second stick and games were made for that, the potential audience would split. Given how huge the PSP fanbase is (particularly in JPN), this is NOT what they want.
Sev isn't here right now, so you'll have to settle for me. If you have a lot of UMDs that you don't want to not be able to play, go with the 2000 unit, which is, IMO, the best one currently. If not, wait until this new one hits. Trust me; you won't have long to wait.
Wait until after E3 to make any purchases.
All the issues I had with Prototype (check my recent commenting history) are non-issues for this game. Everything looks good, everything is polished, Cole is powerful, yet not OVER powered, the city looks great.....THIS is what I expect from a game in this generation. It's a 1st day buy.
Actually, if you looked back far enough into my commenting history on this very site, you'll find that I was VERY excited for Prototype.
Edit: Here, I'll even help you out.

Didn't say handheld. Specifically said console.
Here, I'll help. Lego Rock Band.
Come on, one more, and I'll concede your point. Just one more. I'll even, for the sake of this conversation, ignore the fact that Lego Rock Band is aimed at an entirely different audience.
"With respect to the franchises that don’t have the potential to be exploited every year across every platform with clear sequel potential that can meet our objectives of over time becoming $100 million plus franchises, that’s a strategy that has worked very well for us."
That's Activison-Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick explaining why the company dropped titles like Riddick, Brutal Legend. and Ghostbusters.
You see the key word there? "Exploit." As in...
Maybe the press conference, but not the whole show.
Gee, and here I thought MTV, BET, or FX would be doing it.
This wasn't so much a find. This is what PSLS has been informed through our sources, and there's more info to come.
So, since sales are apparently what makes a game great and not the actual game, you are admitting that the Wii's top games are better than the 360's top games?
See, you have no way out here. If you say yes, then you're an idiot. If you say no, then you're a hypocrite.
Moral of the story? Don't bring up sales when you're talking about how good games are.
Gears is a Xbox franchise. Period. It should remain a Xbox franchise. I'm tired of things going multi-plat; systems need games that define them. Gears helps the 360 do that.
I will say, however, the next Gears needs to wait until either the next Xbox, or some MASSIVE improvements to the UE3.
