I know those people are out there. I just don't care. Nothing they say make KZ2 any less fun to play, nor does it make the graphics and physics any less spectacular. If they truly believed that sales were more important than actual game quality, they have to admit that Wii Sports in one of the best games this entire generation. Since they don't, it's clear that they simply see what they want to see.
It's irrelevant either way. Their comments, while amusing, are useless. It'...
Couldn't agree more. We're all gamers here. This whole "Console War" thing is just stupid.
I agree with all of these reasons, and I could add to the list extensively. I just feel that the PS3 is the better system. Which is why I own one.
If you read the other article, you didn't need to smell this coming. He straight up said that it was.
Am I the only one that actually read the last article?
Their. THEIR! If you can't do a simple grammar check on your article, I'm not reading it.
For some people, anything that may alter their outlook on reality is a threat, and they will attack it with everything they can muster. I read the article and enjoyed it.
Do you even know what FUD means? It's not a synonym for "something you don't agree with." This article is called "hype." FUD is a totally different thing, but my name is EvoAnubis, not Merriam-Webster; you can sort out what that term means yourself.
I'd agree with all of that. The only thing that I'm saying is that the three reasons this article gives to purchase a 360 are sound. As I said below, I could think of 10 reasons off the top of my head to not even think about buying one, and if pressed I could come up with 4-6 additional reasons.
The PS3 is simply the better choice between the two, at least for me. When I bought it (not at launch, but a bout a year later), I really wasn't looking for a new gaming system. I was...
I see nothing there that I disagree with. You're right.
But taken by itself here, these are three good reasons why one would pick a 360, particularly the price point. The average consumer would have no idea that the majority of features that the 360 offers are impossible without a HDD (good luck playing Burnout online without one), but by then, it's usually too late.
I conceded above that these are 3 good reasons to own a 360. What I chose not to mention as it's i...
Those are all very good reasons. Price of entry, on the bottom floor, is just $200 USD. XBLA has some amazing titles and a lot of old school classics. And you can't argue that they don't have a very large an expansive list of games, including JRPGs which is a genre strangely barren on the PS3.
These are 3 very good reasons to buy a 360, and I'd even add XBL's new party system as a 4th reason.
Please point out to me where ANYONE has ever said that Home will be awesome in the opinion of N4G commenter JokesOnYou, and I'll concede this point.
I don't give a crap what you think of Home. Neither does the 25% of PS3 owners across the world that use and enjoy the service.
You don't like it? So what? Don't use it. Doesn't bother me - hell, I prefer it that way.
Wrong. Patent number is 6981918, filed on Feb 12, 2004, issued on Jan 3, 2006.
"The custom soundtrack feature that the PS3 firmware has right now works EXACTLY like the xbox360 version."
Also wrong. The 360's custom soundtrack feature is built onto the firmware itself; the devs don't really have a choice.
"IF developers wanted, they could already offer custom soundtrack via the provided firmware tools on the PS3, but as long as its not m...
Dude, the FW team and the Home team aren't even on the same continent. What one does isn't hindering the other whatsoever.
And as for universal custom soundtracks, MS has a patent on that. Sony can't do it that way, which is why they do it the way that they are currently doing it by leaving it in the hands of the developers.
What a f*cking hypocrite.
Seriously, give it up. Home is doing just fine. This guy doesn't even seem to know what Home is currently doing, as he makes no reference of Xi, the new GF2 space, Sony's pledge to add 3 new spaces a month, clubhouses, and even the pictures he uses for this article are some of the first screenshots ever released about Home (I actually forgot the Central Plaza used to be indoors once upon a time).
Just give up. Whether you see it or care to believe it, Home is a success that's ...
Wanna check my comment history and see what I think about Red Faction: Guerilla? Warning; what you find will conflict with your idiotic outlook on the world.
Regular sever maintenance. No further reason than than.
My g/f was watching this vid over my shoulder and she said the same thing. She also pointed out that no matter what Alex is landing/stepping on, the impact effect is as if it's on stone, even when it should be glass.
June is going to be really interesting for all gamers.....well, maybe not Wii gamers. The rest of us, however, should have a lot to talk about.
So, in your opinion, the only competition that Uncharted 2 has as far as graphics are concerned is a game which requires a $1200+ PC to run at maximum settings?
I think ND would be satisfied with that.
