I'll give you an agree, but please, chill out on the fanboy crap. I got tired of that ish on the GameFAQ boards (which is why I rarely go there anymore, despite being a regular poster once upon a time).
And yes, I'm well aware of how rampant fanboyism is here on N4G . . . I may have just made my account today, but I've been lurking for months. To set the record straight, I'm a GAMER, not a fanboy. I may not like the 360 at all, but when a game as good as Mass Effect appears ...

That's somewhat an inaccurate comparison. Unlike tearing though NYC in a Ferrari, there's nothing stopping a developer from using more of the PS3's processing power except for their own shortcomings.

I'll co-sign that. Kids don't need to be playing this game. I'm all for enforcing the rating system in stores, but they really need to make it universal. Just for sh!ts and giggles, I brought my 14 year old cousin with me when I bought Saw 4, and I gave him the money and had him actually purchase it at Wally World. Got thru with no issues.
My wallet, however, is safe this month. Thank God . . . I'll need all the paper I can spare later this year. MGS4, GTA4, Midnight Club, Little Big Planet, FF13, Fallout 3 . . . damn.

I fail to see how this is news. A launch title only uses 20% of the systems power!? WOW!!!! Who would have guessed? Also, R&C:ToD looked awesome . . . tell me how much power that used, and I'll be impressed.
It goes w/o saying that we have yet to see a game that truly drives the PS3 hardware . . . and it'll be a year or two before we even begin to understand how powerful this beast is.
I'm just glad we're no longer seeing lackluster ports of 360 games . ....
GT5 is awesome, but I'd rather play Midnight Club. It's more fun for me.
That whole fanboy-ism thing really needs to stop. I thought we were all gamers, but as is sadly typical for humanity, some assclowns just have to find ways of dividing themselves.

I never said that people who bought the Core model made the majority of the owners. I'd remember saying that, if I did, and I don't.

I agree with you fully. Custom soundtracks were awesome on the X-Box . . . I just didn't like the controller, but that is indeed a personal preference. The graphics were also far superior to the PS2, which should come as no shock. The only thing was, by the time it came out on the X-Box, I'd already played each of the games and pretty much had gotten tired of them.
Who, besides the phenomenally stupid, is downplaying the content? I myself said that it was cool.
Now, about the "having" to pay for a new controller (which you don't) . . . how about owners of the 360 Core model that actually do have to pay the $100 for a HDD in order to enjoy that DLC?
Oh, by the way . . . if KZ2 is better than the first one, that's a plus . . . but the PlayStation 3 isn't riding on that one game to be a success.
Well, I feel like this. I put around 400 hours into GTA:SA before I started getting bored. I don't recall there being any DLC for that.

First off, there was no bribe given to WB to go Blu-Ray exclusive. WB has said it, Sony has said it, and yet the rumor keeps coming back . . . kinda like the "OMG: MGS4 iz coming to teh 360!!111!!" rumors. And guess what? That's not true either.
