@guy above
He brought it on himself, though I don't really disagree with everything he says. Still, he manages to troll on each and every comment hence the "$" when writing "Sony". Of course, a lot of PS3 fans here also write "M$".
@blaze
Sony's support online is a bit weak. Considering the fact that people pay for XBL I would say I would EXPECT MS to deal with cheaters. That's the problem with PSN, things like trophies are ...
Trophies are something I compare with my friends for fun.
Now, if trophies had leaderboards then it would be make things more competitive but I collect trophies for myself, not to beat anybody.
And good for the kid. He took his poison and made it a cure.
Well what you are essentially expecting us to do is take your word for it (since you didn't show ANY Evidence whatsoever) or take the word of numerous credible websites that HAD video evidence.
Considering the fact that you have a bad track record for tipping the favor to Sony, I find it hard to believe you.
I mean, you could have at least done good with some video evidence. Why bother if all your going to do is make claims without proof? Your accusations are worthle...
Nobody says the PS3 version is "bad", it's just inferior and just a sloppy port.
Also, you make the reviewers seem like some biased bad guys out to get the poor old PS3. That's fine, but unless you can prove that for some reason, that all these media sites suddenly turned their back on the PS3 (after praising it with giving Uncharted 2 GOTY and praising the PS3 in general), you really have no case.
And I understand that the differences may be over exaggerat...
Like it or not the 360 has more RPGs, Mass Effect and Fable being big ones.
Nothing can touch the PS2 RPG domination, but this gen the PS3 has been starving of RPGs and MS has been more consistent.
However, the Playstation 3 still has its RPG's. Demon's Souls is my GOTY, Valkyria Chronicles is a gem, and we've got good ports of games like Eternal Sonata.
Now, onto the article:
I really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY, REALLY,...
MS allowing Xbox games on DC? What?
I've always thought XBL was the natural successor of Sega Net, or at least was what Sega Net should have been.
I wonder what Sega Net would be like today.
The Dreamcast was a great console. I would have loved to have them around today but the PS2 really crushed the Dreamcast.
I grew up with the Dreamcast. It has a strong cult following and a soft spot in many people's hearts.
Well considering the game consists of QTE I'm not too surprised-- Heavy Rain is essentially an interactive story and it's been billed as just that. It's going to be unique and it's going to require open mindedness, but I'm sure it's going to be a very accessible game-- though I find it hard to think casual gamers would play an M-rated game since it limits the appeal.
I hate bringing up casual gaming because I don't want to sound like an elitist or as if I'm some "hardcore" player.
I'm not blaming Nintendo, but their console opened up the eyes of everybody and brought to light the gold mine that is known as the casual market.
Everything today is aimed at them:
-Modern Warfare 2
-Natal
-PS3 Motion
-The rumored PS3 Fit
-Nintendo Wii/Fit
-3-D gaming
Now, I don't mind t...
And I think people have a really pissy elitist attitude towards popular games like Call of Duty and Halo. But my GOD, it's like IW was smashed in the head with hammer. I've never seen a sequel botched so badly than I have with MW2.
I mean, the game is fun, but the CORE gameplay mechanics are bad, the exploiting and cheating is rampant, the appeal to casual gamers ruins the game, and it's a total screw job!
Modern Warfare 2 MP TRULY is the biggest fail I have seen fro...
3-D does seem very unnecessary.
I don't think it will be too important, especially not this early.
BUT, somebody has to get the ball rolling and if Sony wants to do it, then I'm all for it.
I'm just going to be not expecting much and not hyping it like a lot of people seem to do. Then again, everything is hyped by rabid fans. Comments like "SonYZ Iz Innovationz!", "Dis is the future of gaming!" and nonsense like that really does more ...
Just wondering. If that doesn't change your opinion of GT then hats off to your commitment!
I usually don't like random stuff like this getting approved but this was a clearly strong effort. Unfortunately I can't approve anyway lol.
UC2's multiplayer is great. Unlike certain others (whose name need not to be mentioned) Naughty Dog has devoted their time into multiplayer.
No, not DLC. Even though they had one piece, but don't worry that was free!
The MP is not perfect but it can be better with the patches and fixes that will surely keep coming d...
This is EXACTLY what I've been waiting to hear.
MS has made Natal look very confident by showing all the third party support its getting. They had an excellent and silly demonstration at E3 (silly is a good thing, they are appealing to the casuals and trying to get the point across that natal is great fun for parties).
Sony's motion control is currently slowest but I'm sure it will be great.
What I wanted to hear was that devs supported it. Because, with...
Nothing on this list is even relevant to MW2 considering nearly every other game has these "Four Players" we love to hate.
For me:
-Knife Class Users/Knife Class Users with Care packages
-1887 Akimbo Users
-Heart Beat Sensor Users and people who refuse to use ninja (S&D, guy will pwn with HBS but the enemy team is too stupid to use Ninja)
-Stopping Power users
To me, those are my most annoying players.
The kni...
A select few have their hands on it. Not sure who, but if you watch their demonstration video they have players playing the game and they talk about beta testers.
3-D gaming isn't really necessary but it will be an interesting experience.
The main issue involves whether or not they can successfully pull off a legit experience or if it will be no different than a movie-theater experience with goofy 3-D glasses.
Still, I will try it out, but I am not expecting to be super wowed with it.
As for MS, you never know until you lead the way and try it, so if they are skeptical that's fine, but at least somebody like Sony ...
And of course, if they say something pro-360 everybody shouts MS owns the site.
As for the article itself, the 360 is doing just fine and it keeps pumping better software sales and better yields overall. Even if PS3 is doing better in hardware the 360 isn't trailing far behind. Is it as advanced as the PS3? No, but it doesn't HAVE to be.
Also, with MS saying things like Natal is the next step with the 360, it's evident that MS has new things up its sleeves.

Act of God is just unnaturally explained events that destroy your PS3. For example, a lightning bolt hitting a tree that falls on your PS3, etc.
So he also praises the PSN? The full quote isn't put into the title, and I assume it's for "teh almighty hitz!" I guess it would be too boring to put "Yamauchi Speaks on XBL and PSN"?
I'm not too sure how online works from the developers end but I'm inclined to agree that XBL offers more and treats users with more options and services than PSN. Hopefully we can see more out of Sony with PSN Premium which should run against XBL, and maybe then GT5 (Assuming it ...
