As expected, this game seems to be top notch.
Congrats on a great start to 2010 360/PC owners.
And with that, 2010 begins to unravel.
I wasn't saying designs should look like that, but the fact that the community can make those makes me wonder what Sony employees could do.
And yes, the interface is fine but for PSN Premium Sony IMO needs to show they are dedicated to a stronger online service.
I for one like the idea of expanding the PSN to features like that which incorporate the community, friends, and information together.
I don't think they have to "be" like XBL but if Pr...
Amen. Halo truly is the most complete package to DATE. No game has ever come close to offering SO Much.
Split screen co-op and online, forge, a sandbox theater, competitive modes, online co-op, a fun campaign, and Bungie's support is all gold.
I still want a 360 just to play Halo.
Come on, what else needs to be said that hasn't already been said?
XBL is the better service for a price, PSN is the simpler service for free.
I would at least think the article would bring up PSN Premium because until PSN Premium comes out there isn't much to say that already hasn't been said.
With that said, and in an effort to not get the convo stuck with the same derivative points, PSN Premium has the ability to match XBL unlike PSN today can. Since ...
I've seen a ridiculous amount of the same "Sony in 2010" speculative articles get approved over and over again and it's highly annoying.
Edit: I just noticed you wrote that article. I didn't mean any disrespect and I'm not saying it's a bad article (I actually enjoyed it and in a perfect world all those points would be heaven). So, if you want my opinion on the article, it's terrific, but I can't stand how many I keep seeing on N4G.
Personally I don't know...
And what makes you think that?
Reach already has a beta which, for the multiplayer, already makes it so much more better than MW2.
As for the SP, I trust Bungie more than I do with IW.
The fact that it's exclusive also makes me think otherwise.
I thought of it as Halo 4 simply because of the hype and amount of work they are putting into Reach.
No doubt Reach is going to be the biggest Bungie project since Halo 3. As for Halo 4, I suppose it will make a good alternative. Considering the fact that Reach will "upset hardcore fans" as Bungie said it, it is interesting to see how Bungie is alternating between different styles.
Regardless, the Halo universe is very interesting and very impressionable. M...
Facebook integration on PS3 is absolutely lame. All you can do is control gaming-related things.
Sure you have the browser, but in terms of integration the 360 FB is so much better. It's streamlined and has all the main features. I really hate FB on my gaming system anyway.
I think Sony should have gone with, or incorporated some sort of stuff with Twitter. I hate twitter in real life but it's cool on a gaming system.
Sony has twitter-like functionality:...
It's not just hacks: there are numerous glitches, exploits, and very bad balancing issues that IW just didn't think about.
Seriously, I can't say it any other way. they did not THINK, their minds were not functioning, they were mentally handicapped when making the MP.
And it's all due to a lack of beta, something both Reach and BC2 and even CoD4 had.
They were overconfident with their product's sales (since a beta is there to ensure quality to consumers)...
IW never did, or at least did it very very poorly.
The lack of beta, Robert Bowling, and the lazy multiplayer really did screw up MW2. As long as Bungie can keep doing what they do they will be fine and I have no reason to believe they will screw up like IW did.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to Reach. Bungie is very talented and Halo is a very fun shooter.
And a VERY informative ad too. Hopefully this captures the attention of average gamers who may not have heard about the game.
I may have my doubts about MAG but it appeals to a large amount of fans and Sony is really showing its unique features.
Also, the Sony "Make.Believe" logo at the end was nice too.
:)
It's 2010 ya know? Or are you still getting used to it :P
Anyways, LBP was very deserving of its praise as is Uncharted 2. I just wish people would buy more copies, it's very hard to convince a meathead COD gamer or Halo player to try out games like this. Yet Sony hasn't tried altering their games to aim for higher sales it seems. The games are very prestigious, but sales should be sky high.
Well, at least that's my opinion on it. I'm sure ND and Mm a...
Bah! Was going to submit this and was waiting all night for it, but you beat me to it ;)
This game is easily going to trump MW2-- the team at DICE and EA are much more dedicated to the fans and have been working very hard.
My one complaint is that they dont seem to be offering any sort of co-op or offline which is very unfortunate. A game like BFBC2 would benefit from a Resistance/story co-op.
Anyway, the MP is looking strong and the SP is looking action...
Though the 360 has more A-AAA rates games, I was not implying that at all. I was simply saying that why disagree with a great game coming to a new console? It's more money for the devs, and more options for the gamers. It's a win-win situation.
I dont know about you but I wouldnt want to limit my choices on the PS3.
I would love a game like Gears on the PS3. UC2's SP is obviously much better than Gears', but Gears of War seems to have a better MP.
Besides, even if you consider it to be a lesser game, it's still a great game and if I can get my hands on a good game for the PS3 then I will hope for it to happen.
As for Pachter: He's HHG without the "Hip Hop"... and probably the "Ga...
Unfortunately, I mean that in a bad way.
And yes, this is wide spread in the forums. These guys are absolutely mentally deficient. Just yesterday I was reading a tweet from Bowling stating how there are always people who complain in the world and that was part of life. People are sucking his epeen for giving us TWO PATCHES IN TWO MONTHS! Zomg! He's such a hero!
It's absolutely pathetic that the forum has to keep stressing the problems for IW to find them. They are li...
I agree that this is not news, but come on now, a console should have no problem operating for extended periods of time. Also, we don't even know how long the console was running for. The 360 has a rep for breaking down and this is only proof of that.
But yes, this is not news and in no way important... or new.
The thing with these Sony updates is that they are always dangerous to a small minority somewhere. I don't understand why it's happening but it's very annoying having to download the latest update in fear of something bad happening. I get very paranoid with something like this.
What's worse is that Sony always has updates, however small, multiple times a year which makes the risk even higher. I wish Sony would make a super big update (like they did with 2.7) and leave it at that ...
Haha, yeah right.
You admitted that this doesn't have to do with maturity and then you said adults are more pleasant.
Really, it's down to personal experience but let's not pretend that older gamers don't whine, complain, and play their annoying music over the mics.
Also, like I said, it's much more common to hear people on 360 because they actually HAVE mics unlike the PS3 which didn't bundle it in.
Personally, I'm fine with that because a ...
If someone was so butthurt over a 0.1 difference between two entirely different games.
Some people may be fanboyish enough to see it that way but I see it as two completely great games. And let's not act as if any one them is perfect. I could point out numerous flaws in Uncharted 2 and ME2 if I had the chance to play it.
Edit: For that matter, I would also laugh if somebody is desperate enough to gloat over a 0.1 difference.
