Now you too can brag about how great your Sony subdivision is :)

It was a bit awkward. It needed a soundtrack. It would have been awesomesauce if they had some actual 12 yr old gamer playing Monopoly. But pretty funny nonetheless.

I actually enjoy running into these kinda gamers on PSN. It makes things so much more competitive, especially when they lose.

How is the PS3 the "correct" choice? Is it because you own it solely?

The 360 and PS3 together would have been the best choice for consoles. For exclusivity the 360 would have been the better choice for DICE consider the 360 supports their demographic better than the PS3.

Either way the beta convinced me to buy this game.

Yeah, it was funny. I was expecting it to be more serious, but it's all true.

As for killstreaks, nearly all of them are stopped if you are smart enough to take them down.

I run into a lot of team players who take care of killstreaks and air support. If one thing IW did right, it was making sure Killstreaks could be countered/destroyed.

Oh, and riot shield is also one of those things that works well with teamwork. The riot shielder is always the distract...

The experiences are both different. Natal removes the controller while the Wii uses it. Just because Wii mainstreamed motion control doesn't mean they created it.

Hell the PS2 had the EyeToy, and the Gameboy Color had that Gameboy Cam back in the day.

Even though people hate on Natal out of jealousy (there are some valid reasons but some people moan that it's an eyetoy ripoff, which it's not), Natal offers to manage a different outtake on gaming.

I'm ske...

I thought Sony put its videos on the 360 Netflix... I remember people flipping out at first but I thought the issue was quickly resolved.

I'm seeing a lot of people saying the Netflix on PS3 has more movies. If that's true then PS3 on Netflix is clearly better.

However, PS3 still needs to fix issues with streamlining Netflix. Not only does the disc need to be ditched (and it will), but it also needs to remove slowdown and loading, etc. The 360 version is smoother to ...

is if I will be emotionally invested in the characters.

I just hope it manages to sell itself. I'm totally convinced with the atmosphere of the game-- it looks very dark and gloomy, and the use of rain and rainstorms is used in a subtle but genius way. It's like reading a piece of literature come to life.

I'm loving the aspect that characters can and will die and the story will keep going. I just hope I care enough to give a damn if they die. Otherwise, it would be a...

I was assuming I was done with shooters after Uncharted 2/MW2 but it's such a great and addictive genre. I'm mainly in it for the multiplayer experience and judging from the beta, it is a pretty fun game.

I'm still considering MAG even though I'm a little skeptical with it. I'll decide once both are released, but right now this is my "Big Scale" multiplayer game of choice.

I'm very welcoming of it and would love to play games like WipeOut and Burnout. I'm not sure if it's going to be any different than the experience you get in a movie theater, but I like the idea of playing video games in 3-D rather than watching a movie mainly because playing video games adds to the interactive experience. And right now, that's the goal of the future: motion controls, 3-D, player recognition, etc. are all making the next big evolutionary step in gaming interactivity. It's a v...

3-D is a little gimmicky to be fair. I wont hype it as a big thing, but I will welcome the new experience as something to experience.

Assuming MSN criticizes it because they are owned by MS, one would then have to question why other MS-owned sites like CNet praise the PS3 and even reward it console of the year if they have a bias. Clearly there is a bias inconsistency, so it's most likely that MS doesn't micromanage its subsidiaries to make them look better than the PS3.

Don't worry, sooner or later in 2010 they will drop the need for a disc and go with digital.

Once that happens then PS3 will have the better service considering that it's free to access.

I'm not sure which console has more movies, I'm assuming the 360 because Netflix has been around longer.

Keep Infinity Ward.

They have a great game and they always did... it's just that with MW2 Activision wanted a different, more casual game. At least that's the idea I get. I never thought it was IW who made their game that way, but maybe they are to blame.

I always assumed that publishers like Activision were in control.

This wouldn't be a problem if Sony was in charge. I've read numerous times that Sony injects its devs with cash and creative freedom. If...

you have to remember WaW was off to a bad start with glitches too.

Not as bad as MW2, but still.

I'm currently annoyed with how IW are handling the glitches, hacks, and overall community with MW2. People want change, people want a better game but IW is working on DLC.

Well, maybe it's because you can get porn and sex on video games :

Hot Coffee anyone?

But seriously, Ron Jeremy is funny.

No one says Halo's graphics are "great". In fact, they are acceptable. So is MAG's CONSIDERING the 256 players. However, MAG is slightly less of the standard we've come to expect from Sony.

Also, MAG has "great" gameplay? A FPS doesn't differentiate from all the other FPS's and MAG is no different. What MAG has going for it is execution in the number of players and how Zipper planned out the game. As for the core gameplay of shooting, etc. it's standard.

I don't mind regenerating health. It doesn't prove anything in regards to skill or demographic. Besides, it wouldn't work with this game anyway.

I like the health system in Killzone 2. You can never completely regenerate health when you lost a lot, unless you use med packs.

Halo has a good mix of health packs and regenerating health too.

Stopping Power does way more damage than it used to do.

Also, the weapons are way too overpowered too. Specifically the assault rifles which outclasses both sniper rifles and SMG's. Then there is akimbo which, for some reason, doesn't give you more recoil.

As for these callsigns, fix the damn game first IW.

How does this have 3 approvals when the link is a picture of Modern Warfare 2 box art? Just goes to show you how bad the system is.

I agree that a second analog stick was important. It's such a waste not to include it.

As for the PSP itself, I've never really heard anything bad about its sales, even though the DS is still dominating the handheld scene.

It's a good alternative to the DS, so I wouldn't want Sony abandoning the PSP, but I still think the PSP needs improvements especially when it comes to battery life, an extra analog stick and pricing. Besides, the main focus is the PS3. As long as ...

They can choose to hit their financial target at the expense (pun intended) of getting the most out of their technology, or they can not hit their target and get the most out of their technology. Judging from the Xbox 360, it's clear Microsoft would rather strike financial targets rather than push technology.

That's fine. I think Sony's wand is going to be the one that strikes the technology aspect, but I also think like the PS3, Sony is going to miss it's financial target.
