It took Wild Hearts 8 months and Immortals of Aveum 9 months to be on EA Play.
That is nowhere near being “soon”. Regardless of whether they are flops or not, EA does not put their games on EA Play until quite a few months have passed.
Even titles like Fifa/FC also take around 8 months
Soon is a bit of an exaggeration.
Yes it will be on Gamepass (Ultimate) because EA Play is included in it, but this kind of SP games still take their time to make it to EA Play
The catching mechanic patent was filed even before Arceus was released, I dont know which ones you have been watching because all the ones I’ve seen were before Palword came out
(Though not all have been approved in the US yet, just in Japan)
But it also drops below 60 from time to time, particularly in the most demanding sections, its not locked.
Which is literally what the article says
1. I won’t even bother trying to reply to that
2. Every Dragon Age game has been extremely different in every single one of those categories, just let it go already and enjoy each one for what they do well
This is from the preview event that basically a ton of sites went to, not the part of the IGN first previews.
And from what I’ve seen from practically every site that have covered it, it has been receiving almost unanimous praise.
I don’t understand why people want this game to fail
I’m curious about why you are so certain that it will have it. Granted, its in no way impossible for it to happen, but so many things point to it not being the case that it just feels like you (and many other people) are setting yourselves up for disappointment when I’d personally just rather have more grounded expectations and be pleasantly surprised if I’m wrong.
1. Most (if not all) Rockstar games have targeted 30fps upon release. Higher FPS versions have happened years ...
@fr0sty
They haven’t. There’s been a lot of rumours (coming from ex-employees) about a 2026, but in their latest financial results, T2 still has the game scheduled for Fall 2025.
Granted, there is still plenty of time to delay it and as I said, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if it happens
I will be really surprised if GTA6 is 60fps on the Pro.
Its not like the game already came out and they just need to dedicate some extra time for the port.
At this point they are all hands on deck and probably already crunching just to complete the game, and I wouldnt even be surprised if its delayed since they have no issues to keep pushing the release date until they are sure its ready.
60fps in most games needs to be consideration fr...
Yeah, it can be a bit misleading to the viewer seeing the hand drawn look and think it should be easy to run, but the 2D drawn portion is just something that is placed “on top”, but the whole game is being rendered in 3D all the time.
Not that I think the Switch couldn’t run it better, but it is basically a full 3D platformer all the time with the additional 2D part as a “wrapper”
Its not like every developer out there will be interested in putting out pro patches anyway (nor do they have any obligation, its a miniscule market to begin with)
We know PSSR doesn’t require them to change the SDK version which can be a hassle, so it’s very likely Remedy decided to just change FSR for PSR as their sole upgrade (which given how bad FSR is on console, should still be a decent upgrade) and just let the extra raw power be a guarantee of reaching the framerate...
It wouldn’t make any sense for Sony to show them in their PS5 Pro reveal if they were running on unpatched (though of course everything shown is technically WIP since the console isn’t out yet)

Frame gen from 30 to 60 fps will absolutely NOT provide better performance. Will it look “smoother” in motion and camera pans? Yes.
But taking the already low input lag of 30fps and adding all the latency from frame gen (which is going to be more pronounced at a base 30fps) just makes for a horrible playing experience.
The whole point of 60fps is for things to be fluid and snappy.
And thats leaving aside th...
Not to mention a 2TB SSD at retail can already be found for $110-120.
The price they are getting that additional 1TB on their end is a fraction of that, so not even the extra storage is much justification for the price increase
There is no doubt whatsoever it will be upscaled. Even a 4090 is barely playable at 8K
I wouldn’t really use that as a comparison for what a fair price is.
That 2TB Series X is just as much of a daylight robbery
I guess by that logic the PS5 was never going to sell more than 50 million units, since anyone who doesnt have a PS5 at this point was clearly never going to get one.
Sure is weird how the PS4 got to 100+ million units with so much of them happening after the first half of the generation….
True, though at this point given the complete lack of price drops (the opposite in fact), I’d guess almost everything except perhaps PSVR2 runs on a profit margin for Sony this gen.
While I honestly thought it would sell worse, I gotta agree that 500k doesn’t exactly scream “major success” when it comes to hardware
@romulus
You can’t possibly compare the exposure they will get from the bubble that is dedicated gaming news sites to what they might get in game.
It’s honestly happened plenty of times, both with games and TV shows, old songs just massively blowing up because of how they were used (not saying it would necessarily happen here, but its not uncommon)
Also, why are people calling the offer insulting? Do any of you know what would be typica...
What? The game is not even using PSSR, its their own internal stuff. And its still the same frame rate caps for all modes, did you even watch the video?
