if you KNOW that you want Assassins Creed and you KNOW as of right now that it's at least coming to the PS3, why not just get a PS3, instead of sitting back getting you rox off HOPING that it'll come to other systems? it shouldn't even be an important topic for argument. if its so important that the 360 EVENTUALLY gets Assassins Creed, then PS3 losing the exclusivity of GTA shouldn't be that big of a deal, as Sony has said all along.
fanboys crack me up. they sit back and sp...
i know the news source is from a XBox site, and i'm not meaning to nitpick, but you do know that this game is coming to the PS3 as well don't you?
nice to see the PS3's lauch list finally taking shape. too bad these two games don't interest me much. bring on Motorstorm, Resistance and Heavenly Sword instead.
actually my comment was meant for that schmi77y05 person, not you.
oh, i agree with you JPomper. majority of those games you've listed interest me as well. but we're looking at things from an American perspective. with the exception of DOA, and MAYBE PGR, do you honestly think those games will sell in Japan? Final Fantasy and DQ seem so locked-up by Sony that i highly doubt Microsoft will get anymore Squenix support other than the already released FFXI. maybe (hopefully, as since i now own a 360 i too have a vested interest in seeing it succeed in Japan...
looks good.
i have heard my share if immaturity from PS2 fans, but you are reaching for the cake. you belittle the history of WWII by insinuating that it has anything to do with why the inconsequential 360 isn't selling in Japan. tell me, if 95% of the 360's library were rpg's would you buy one?
the 360 needs diversity. as a PSOne/PS2 and (possibly) PS3 fan who recently purchased a 360, i can honestly say that i appreciate Japan's lack of interest in a system where 95% of its library is shooters (fps' primarily) and sports games. while i have ardently enjoyed GRAW and COD2, i must say that so far i'm unimpressed with the 360's other offerings (or lack thereof). whats even more troubling, when i look at the majority of the big games on the horizon, i come up with Halo 3, GOW, Prey ...
took long enough (if indeed it doesn't get delayed...AGAIN). not really into fps', but this one looks promising. i at least wanna try it before i buy it.
well, obviously the article doesn't name names. but since the PS3 has gotten priase from all the major developers (Sega, Capcom, Namco, Konami, Squenix etc), it stand to reason that most of the developers who took this poll are the same developers who make all those weird, quirky, Japanese-geared games that Americans like to dog. so in a since, this poll shouldn't really matter to U.S. gamers.
he's not a Sony tool. he's just a gamer with an opinion. if he's a Sony tool then it can be argued that you're a Microsoft tool
its apparent from the graphics of MGS4 that Kojima isn't just blowing hot air. he has been one of the FEW developers to consistantly deliver on his promise of a great game. now that he has vowed support for a suddenly ridiculed Sony everyone wants to slam the man. all this Sony negativity is getting ridiculous. half of the articles on the main page that have something to do with Sony are marked lame, even though most don't even have any comments under them (which begs the question: were t...
and yes, i'm talking PS2 too. GT 3 and 4 sold more than 20 million units worldwide
http://www.totalvideogames....
just in case you REALLY wanted to know, the Gran Turismo series on the PS2 has sold more than 20 million units worldwide. thats not counting GT 1 and 2 on the PSOne
pRo loGic II i'm done with you. i can only think of so many different ways to say that I HAVE A XBOX 360 AND LIKE IT! i don't know whats hard to understand about that. you keep talking about all these 360 games as if i'm slamming them. yes, THEY LOOK PROMISING! yes, I INTEND ON GETTING THEM!
as far as this famo person and Assassins Creed: tell me, why would Microsoft consent to endorsing the PS3 by allowing Ubisoft to demo a game for the PS3 using 360 hardware? that makes...
well no offense, but if you calm down and read my post, you'll notice that i DO have a 360. i've have NEVER thought or said that the 360 was a joke: i just didn't like what it was offering until now. thats called preference, not bashing. you have never read a post where i slammed either Microsoft or the 360. i could've easly waited for GRAW and (hopefully) Oblivion to come to the PS3, but that would've been impratical and illogical. Chromehounds, GOW, Halo 3, Prey, Bioshock are promising...
because YOU don't like Phil or Ken? can you give me one credible bit of logical, unemotional evidence that the PS3 is a joke? fanboys crack me up. they dog a system they don't like, then say how all its games are eventually gonna come to the system they like. thats the lesson i had to learn. why wait around hoping that GRAW and Obilvion would eventually come to the PS3, when i could just enjoy them now on the 360. if the games are there, why dog the system? Phil can come out and declar...
here's a link, to a GAMESPOT.COM article, confirming that the E3 demo was running on a PC EMULATING THE PS3. it WAS NOT RUNNING ON A 360. A UBISOFT REP CONFIRMED IT! just because someone saw a white object under a towel by a Sony demo-booth doesn't mean that that object HAS to be a 360.

he didn't say anything about google-searching on the PS3. google was used simply as a reference for comparison. and you're right. you shouldn't believe anything until you see it. thats called wise shopping. i did the same thing before getting a 360: and i'll do the same thing before getting a PS3. but i will say this: despite all the negativity thrown at Sony nowadays, what i see i like, and thats great games, not political mumbo-jumbo. Resistance, Lair, Heavenly Sword and Assassins Cr...
