Guess, I can finally cancel my Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Haven't even gamed on Xbox in ages and was only subscribed to GPU because the service offered some really good deals on movies and TV shows from time to time (purchased a Jurassic Park anthology six film collection for under seven dollars).
Now, the main question will be what will happen to peoples purchases once the service shuts down for good. Granted Xbox let's you download your movies and TV show to...
Phil Spencer claimed that the build he played of PD was great and development was going smoothly. He also made similar comments about Scalebound only for him to cancel it.
People still think that Phil Spencer's better than Don Mattrick?
Meanwhile, Phil Spencer continues to get bonus' while his ex employees are forced to look for work elsewhere.
Honestly, Satya Nadella being appointed head of Microsoft and Phil Spencer being lead of Xbox are quite possibly the worst things to happen to the companies. Its only gone downhill since then.
This isn't anything new. MS has done this with other fan made Halo games in the past (i.e. Spartan Runner and Spartan Firefight). Valve has done the same with Half-life (remakes and multiple fan spin-offs).
Nothing noteworthy of trying to put a negative spin on.
Advent Rising had long-term storytelling plans as well..
Well, if your intent is to buy the game when it goes on sale (or for cheap) on an digital storefront like Steam, doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose?
LOL. No they're not. At least not with Silver Star CD. I still own all versions of both. Silver Star CD had about 8 mins of cutscenes and Alex only had a single word of spoken audio dialog.
Now, Eternal Blue CD is an entirely different story. Its probably as good (if not better) than Silver Star Story Complete. Quite amazing how they were able to cram so much content onto a single disc.
That movie blew chunks. The animation looked like it was done in Daz studio and the entire pacing of the film felt like that of those cutscene vg movies that you seen on yt.
Terrence Carson returning as the voice of Kratos?
He's been begging for the past three years. That ship has long sailed. Besides, Phil's a fake. When's the last time he delivered on a game the fans asked for? Still waiting on him to greenlight KI4.
Yeah, but just a couple of days ago, many PS fans were championing the alleged comments of Bobby Kotick (of all people) claiming that MS has zero business being in the gaming business (and agreeing with him) at all. So, which is it really?
David Zaslav is a straight up goof trooper.
Wasn't the entire reason they initially separated from Sony was because they wanted control and ownership of their developed ips? Guess the grass wasn't so green on the other side after all.
EA, Ubisoft, MS, etc at least have their own stores/launchers in which purchases over Steam can be potentially linked to. Outside of Trophy linking (between PS consoles and PC) there's literally no incentive to signing up for a PSN account over Steam other than for Sony to try to bolster their account figures for their investors.
Yes, it did sell well. GP version has a fraction of the reviews that the Deluxe Edition (more expensive purchase version of original) has. If anything, it shows that more people actually bought the Deluxe version than played the GP version, on Xbox at least.
Here's hoping the Remaster is better optimized on PC than the 2020 release.
Most of these have already been playable on pc via xcloud.
Flopped harder than CrossfireX.
Can't get a port to a mobile game certified?
There's a reason why Epic rolled out UE 5.6 so swify.
