someone should compile all his '3DS is doomed to fail' comments from a year ago or so. this dude is a joke.
yeah, "everyone thought that it was going to fail" but it didn't. that's the point. the ps3 has surpassed the 360 in sales despite coming out a year later. "2008... the year of the PS3" - yeah dude, that's 2 years after the system came out. this shit takes a while sometimes - you just pointed it out yourself.

because it felt like a step back from god of war 3 instead of a step forward? it was sloppily put together, buggy, poorly written and utterly inessential. GOW3 was one of my favorite games of this gen, ascension had some great moments but it's nowhere near as good a game in my opinion.
hoping for a vita game. i was pretty disappointed with ascension, but a vita release would be welcome enough that i'd give them a second chance. that, and a new director. whoever that dumbass was that helmed ascension fucked up pretty good in my opinion.

just to keep things in perspective - i've had one xbox 360, one ps3 and two wiis all hardware fail on me so... just because the 360 is more known for it doesn't mean it doesn't happen to the others, too...!
but yeah, i'm with you - buying a ps4 now, and waiting and seeing what happens with the xb1. i'll probably get one in a year or two once the price drops if there are a bunch of exclusives i want to check out.

vita needs a GOW game, hope this is true! crossbuy ps4/vita would be sweet
personally, i care more about sony's first party studios (naughty dog, sucker punch, thatgamecompany, guerilla, sony santa monica, japan studio, media molecule, ready at dawn etc) than i do ms first party (343, twisted pixel, rare, lionhead).
also, i'm already a ps+ member, so it makes sense to take advantage of it's ps4 offerings. finally, i appreciate the better hardware specs the ps4 has compared to the xbox one. i'll definitely get both eventually, but the...
gunna be hard waiting for this dlc to come out. last of us is probably the best game i've ever played. can't wait to revisit the world a little more.
