I agree, this will be the last generation when they will happen. Gears 1,2 and 3 won't ever come to playstation since MS publishes them, but where ever the franchise goes next generation you can bet it will be, unless Epic loves MS marketing too much to give it up.
The same thing will happen to games like Agent and the core Metal Gear franchise too.
First LBP now Killzone, you would think an increased installbase would make it easy for it the sequel to outsell its predecessor but obviously not.
Will obviously be at that MS conference so I can see a Kinect mini game like that Gears of war: Exile.
And yet Kinect sold 10 times better than Move

I own Move too its called a Wii ;)
They have been overshipping the PS3 so retailers have be buying them for cheaper so they can sell them for cheaper. Simple.
That said Sony need to cut price to be remain competitive.
GT5 didn't even surpass Forza 3 so there is no point even bringing up Forza 4.
I love how sales suddenly start to matter when the quality of a PS3 exclusive just isn't up to scratch.
The Killzone leak is worse since its the gold version while Crysis still isn't the complete game.
Plus it also shows that hackers are capable of reducing the filesize of the bluray files since Killzone 3 can be downloaded without the 3D for around 20GB instead of 41GB. If they can do that its only a matter of time before they compress the sound and CGI too, to make games even easier to download.

Can only imagine how bad the PS3 version is, if this is the console version that is running best, hence why all console footage is from the 360.
This is the multiplayer demo so its likely the SP is full HD. It was probably reduced for performance.

Even not being in full HD multiple sources who have played both multiplayer demos have stated it looks a lot more impressive than KZ3 so yes...

How can PS2 games come to the 360.
Too many sequels which are too similar to their predecessors.
Games thats were once AAA are becoming AA GT5, Killzone 3, LBP2 and Halo: Reach just about managed it.
Gears 3 and Uncharted 3 could be next.
Surprising it even managed 87 at meta with so little playtime.
Even being a year older than the PS3 the 360 is still selling at the same rate. And the 360 doesn't have the 130ml PS2 installbase converting.
And people said NA meant nothing, its enough to beat Japan, EU and GT5.
So they sold the same amount from Oct-Dec.
So Kinect was enough to hold off Move, GT5, Japan and Europe.
Another 7, that obviously means Edge will likely go for a 5/6 I bet.

At least Move is finally getting some games designed with just motion controls in mind.
Yeah COD will still dominate, the brand is just too strong now. Unless EA can do an ad campaign bigger than Activision they don't stand much of a chance converting the casual COD crowd.
And we haven't seen BF3 on consoles yet, it could look as bad as COD as it's clear they are focusing on the PC version.
