So what if Kinect doesn't have core games. If you have Kinect you still have access to the 360 controller and the games that support it. His argument would only stick if Kinect was a standalone console.

Well theres gonna be Child of Eden and that Star Wars game. Plus a lot of the hardcore Wii games dont use motion tech that much.

If you want causal games you use Kinect it you want core games you use the controller. You obviously haven't heard about games like Halo:Reach and Fable 3 coming out this year
It's no different to what happened with the PS3 slim, some will be new buyers some will be replacements. However when the arcade slim comes I can see the majority being new buyers.
The current adaptor has a clip on it which only fits onto the back of the old models, so if it doesn't have wifi MS will need to release a new accessory

Thats a lot of people indeed, I'm sure it pretty hard for people with glasses to watch 3D too. And I'm sure the percentage of people who wear glasses is a lot higher than 12%.
I wonder if Sony knew about this before they started backing 3D.
I disagree, Nintendo's 1st party games are the best in the industry. Only Nintendo are capable of creating the highest quality and rated games EVERY time they do a release.
I got a feeling when Kirby releases this year it will not only be highly rated but may also take GOTY from SMG2 which is not only the highest rated game of the year so far but of the entire generation.
Very impressive sales for the 360, and to think there are still shortages and it hasn't even released in EU.
There is no way the PS3 can move out of third this generation, not even GT5 will make much of an impact considering it launches the same time as Kinect. MS's timing for sales boosts has been on point this gen they knew exactly what they doing from the start.

The fact that you need PSN+ to use it will make it more expensive than the XBL counter part. Plus Sony aren't making a custom experience for the PS3 so it will be just like the facebook app, lackluster, nothing to be happy about Sony.

As for Kinectimals I see all the games with the word Kinect in them selling well just like games with Wii in them.
RDR is a beast nearly 1ml on the 360 alone, very impressive for this time of year too.

Article didnt say much about why Move would win just what it does.
IMO I think its the one most likely to fail, without any casual games it won't expand the ps3 audience and considering 90% of the Move games can be played better with an ordinary controller who would waste $130 for a worst experience.
Move needs games which can only be played with Move like what MS has done with Kinect.

It tracks up to 6 people so you can easily have a 4 player game and switch between each active user. There is no way you can a 4 players swing their arms around at the same time, I don't even think there a Wii games like that. All 4 player Wii games either involve you sitting down with no motion control or players take it in turns.
3D gaming with glasses will get seriously hurt once the 3DS comes, consumers are going to think if it can be done with no glasses on the 3DS, I will just wait until the same happens with consoles
