Could well be, like the post said the timing seems like we might get some form of teaser at E3
A AAA Kinect shooter could be interesting.
Damn for the sake of Sony and those 2.2ml i hope this is fake. At least it not 77ml though.
Edit: "Sony was supposedly offered a chance to buy the DB back but didn't" o god
So the 360 outsold the Wii WW for an entire quarter, in fact it outsold it more than 2:1 if I remember correctly.
Go MS.
Except MS refunded everyone who had to pay for repairs and gave a 3 year warranty.
What will Sony give the 77ml PSN users?
I doubt they will be finished but you can expect no one will trust them with their personal details again.
Although if you go to any site discussing this a lot of PS3 owners are saying they are abandoning Playstation for good because of this, so it will definitely have a negative effect on them.
I would be surprised it anyone will even be using PSN once its back up.
There's a reason why XBL is such a closed system, it means MS always has complete control.
Its all really up to MS how this could play out.
Between Sony/MS MS will likely release their next console first. 3rd parties aren't going to start putting "major" franchises on the Wii 2 until there is at least one other console they can put the game on as well.
This means the second MS releases their console you can expect 3rd parties to jump on board the next gen train and Sony will have to follow the following year at minimum unless they wa...
Stop moaning it was inevitable, just like Agent eventually coming to the 360. If its not published by MS or Sony it WILL be multiplatform.
That is a FACT.
@PirateThom
If they were funding it so much then they would be publishing it. I'm pretty sure MS "funded" GTA4 coming to X360 together with FFXIII,RE5,DMC,Tekken,MGS etc etc. MS will just fund the 360 version again and there is nothing Sony can do since they aren't publishers.
And NGP dev costs will likely be close to the 360/PS3.
Better graphics mean higher costs.
Its even worst when you consider Kinect's 10ml are 10ml unique users while Move's 8ml are more like 3-4ml unique users because you have to take into account multiple buys in the same household.
I'm surprised they even managed to get one store closed.
You would think Sony would have better security on hand considering all the threats.
Great job for MS they continue to dominate in the US market and be up YoY even without a pricecut or any major exclusives.
They got the US market on lock.
How in the world is Blacks Ops still in 5th place in March. Thats just crazy.
Too bad Killzone 2 didn't chart considering it was released so late in Feb, but Crysis did well.
Anyone who thinks the NGP can best a Nintendo handheld is delusional.
Just wait until Zelda, Mario and of course the beast that is Pokemon releases.
All the NGP has for system sellers are consoles ports, and since Monster Hunter is rumoured to be on the 3DS the NGP lineup is looking pretty weak.
Wow so Hotz didn't even get sued any money.
This certainly won't help scare hackers from hacking.
U1, U2, U3, U PSP2.
The franchise is getting dangerously close to being considered milked. Its already surpassed the amount of FPS Halo games released in one generation.
I'm pretty sure the 3DS is selling extremely well. Unlike normal home consoles the 3DS is small therefore its quicker to produce, faster to ship more stock and much much more stock can fit in selves.
The 3DS has already broken preorder records so that alone proves its a hit just wait till the games that made the DS huge start releasing like Mario and Brain Training.
And also have you ever heard of the DS selling out? And look how much that sells, more th...
Guess we will only get MS's numbers now since they are the only ones not ashamed of their numbers.
Nintendo might talk too now that the 3DS has launched, Sony won't since they have been silent ever since NPD stopped going public.
Sony's lies really played against them this time. By saying they had 77ml PSN users made it very easy for the media to blow the situation out of proportions.
Maybe this will teach Sony to stick to the truth in future.
