Nice editing and added sounds. Top shelf.

Most of the people that have a problem with this game, in terms of the inclusion of this more complicated subject matter, really just want to blow shit up and not think about the repercussions. They just want to see someone as a uncompromising badass that has no real feelings or problems, beyond where to get the next clip of ammo for their gun.

That's the root of the problem here.

There are people that want more depth of story, depth of character and...

I think both of Lionhead's concepts Justice and Survivors would/could/can be great games. The Ascendant/The Reckoning I hope is still in development.

My guess is that The Ascendant is still going to be made, because it was fairly far along and had a number of big names attached to its development.

Most of these games would not have been exclusive to the Xbox and would have been released on all major platforms including PC.

I'm really looking forward to this.

He is a liar. There has never been any direct link between video games and violence or violent acts. Anything that has supported that claim has been anecdotal at best.

PS- If this is what he looks like... well, he looks like a deviant himself. He really does look like the epitome of a shyster (ex)lawyer.

Yeah, because it's JUST Republicans that want to tell you how to live your life... right.

I'm not too keen on shorter. The combat system might be interesting and I like the fact you can choose your style, either more strategic or more action... or apparently a combination that suits your fancy. My fear is they may have 15 DLC offerings already pre-planned and about 8 of those would/should have been in the main retail game.

Yes, put more shit in the way of the paying customer.
They do this for PC games and it's a pain the the ass.

It makes a pretty noticeable difference. It generally seems to make the environmental textures look better.

The Penumbra games were pretty good.

If that's true about the controller mind technology, that is at once both very cool and somewhat scary.

And Fox News has to do with what exactly? Keeping in mind I have no general love for Fox News, as they railroaded Ron Paul every chance they could. But, I don't see the connection.

And what situation would that be? There is no 'what else then'. It has nothing to do with anarchism. In the course of doing business you can always count on and plan for such occurrences. You can rail against something all you want, until you have no more breath in your body, just like you can swim against the current and get nowhere; or you work with the current and sill accomplish your goals.

The only reason why I even comment on this kind of story, is that it&...

I don't see a lack of support for the Nintendo DS... and that's been pirated to hell too. You want to know why this ultimately doesn't matter. People will continue to consume. They will always have enough paying customers.

I don't know that many games on the console that sell 12 or 15 million copies. That is a very rarefied field at the moment.

Crysis sold 3 million copies. That's a respectable number, especially for a new IP. And it made them a nice profit.

It seems to me that these companies think they should always obtain maximum numbers and maximum profit. Life does not work that way and by extension, neither does business.

The game industry is not dying. The only place the industry is going is to a place of higher profits. It's routine for one game to sell millions of copies earning publishers 100's of millions of dollars. 1 title alone made a publisher 1.5 billion and counting. Even the almost no budget - by comparison - indie titles make very good money. This is all sensationalized crap that is being spread through the internet.

Games make money.

That is never goin...

Well, the reality is that Take Two has spent a lot of money on this and fought for the rights to the franchise. They have a vested interest to see it get done and out the door. It's obviously going to happen. It's just that with this particular game, there have been so many phantom dates and lulls that Duke Nukem Forever will probably go down in history as one of those terms you use like vaporware.

Whatever, I won't get it right away when it does come out. ...

This better not be more smoke blown up the community's collective ass. We've been tricked and abused before.
