Ehh... Watchdogs, splotch logs. I don't care much for it. E3 is what I'm waiting for.
@Supporter:
That's not how competition works. If you want a company to compete and feel like they need to work hard to earn your money, you need them to be afraid of losing. Don't hope for both to sell the same. If a company knows that they'll do well without even trying... Then why even try? But that's not always the case, certain companies have passionate people who want to output good things, and that's what Sony did during the PS1 and PS2 eras.

Sony TVs are the highest quality, though. Offering them for less will mean they won't make any profit. There's no point in making TVs if there's not even a chance of profit, it's not like gaming consoles where the money is made from software sales. Sony could lessen the quality of their TVs... But why even? At that point, they're just gonna be another random TV manufacturer.
Also, South Korean companies like LG and Samsung get tax breaks from their governm...
@dodgemoose:
You're right, I meant to say most of their films do poorly and/or they're really poorly received.
Sure, they have some hits like the Spiderman films, 007, This is the End, etc., but they also have flops like After Earth (distributed by Columbia Pictures which is a Sony subsidiary), Smurfs, etc.
That's really how all distributors, production companies, etc. operate. Make some big hits, use money from big hit to sign of...

Most of their movies don't make a profit, though. But that's how it is with movies. Producers just sign off on random crap and let them ride on the backs of blockbusters like 007.
The movie industry is kind of toxic in that way.
Having my mind blown by March NPD felt like yesterday... And E3 feels like it's never gonna come.
Uncharted 2 is the second game in a franchise. Established franchises tend to sell better, like Halo which was on its 7th non-spin off game.
Both Little Big Planet and The Last of Us were new IPs.
Uncharted 2 sold about 6 million while The Last of Us, a new IP, sold 6 million. New IPs almost never do 6 million, especially not exclusives.
Halo 4 sold 10 million and was a heavily established franchise and it was the only exclusive for the 360 t...
They haven't had anything since March though, while the PS4's had 3 titles since March.
X1: Titanfall
PS4: inFAMOUS SS, FFXIV ARR, MLB The Show, Bound by Flame (don't get this game though, I'd rate it among Ryse and Knack), and in 6-ish days, Transistor is coming out. The X1 isn't getting anything until maybe June, if E3 announces something for June.
He said some really, really dumb stuff, though. Medhi needs to be the next to go.

"People have been more satisfied with the Xbox 360 than the PS3, so in that respect people have less of a need to upgrade in the short term due to regular updates for the Xbox 360."
@Trouble:
Don't forget FFXIV ARR, which is at 87.
Maybe, but Titanfall couldn't save it and even with minor price drops that sometimes got as low as $400 with Titanfall. Maybe the official pricedrop will since it'll be heavily advertised, but we'll see.
@George:
Damn... I don't know how many times I've told you that the PS4 has more exclusives than that... It's probably been about 5 times and... Well, you're still not getting it so I'm not even gonna bother. Continue with your delusions.
You never even thought about wanting to try out a game but end up not buying it? I'm pretty sure everyone's done that.
It's like a hot girl at some place, you want to go talk to her but you end up chickening out. A few weeks later you guys see each other again and she's practically begging for... It. So are you in or are you crazy?
Good. I want PS+ to have some decent competition. I'm not saying "it needs competition because competition keeps things from stagnating", which has some truth and some falsity to it, I'm just saying GWG was a joke in comparison and I didn't even bother downloading anything. Now I will.
Most go quickly, but Sony keeps a few on there almost indefinitely. It's good for new users to try the standouts and it doesn't really impact new games coming to the service so long-time PS+ users won't get pissy.
Yup. I'll take better things wherever it is and I don't care if it's been "copied". PSN wouldn't be what it was if it didn't copy XBL.
@Alex:
Aren't you used to renting half of the system's functions with Gold restrictions by now? And it's about time they got rid of those, and by the way, I'm not applauding MS for undoing something they shouldn't have done in the first place. It's like thanking someone for pulling the knife out of your gut after they stabbed you with it.
That said, I don't see what your problem with "rentals" is...

Apple and Samsung rule the US, as well as most other areas. About 60% of the smartphones sold in the world are Apple or Samsung, does that mean HTC, Motorola, Oppo, and all the other phone manufacturers should stop making phones? No, they have their niches and they do okay.
Sony's phones supposedly do really well in Asian countries and they do okay in some European countries too, so it's semi-profitable, just not as much as for Samsung and Apple. I also think Sony wou...
@Blaze:
The guys who made Jak and Daxter left, some of them aren't even in game design anymore. Naughty Dog's games? Still great.
