Microtransactions =/= Pay to Win.
Team Fortress 2 has microtransactions, it's not pay to win because they balance the weapons well.
Driveclub gives you different tiers of cars, buy an S class car with real money, you can only race with other people who are also using an S class car, at least that's how every racing game with and without microtransactions works and I'm pretty sure that's Driveclub works.
I honestly want to know what you guys who say you have nothing to play on the PS4 but have a lot to play on the X1 actually play, because there hasn't been an exclusive for the X1 since March unless you've been playing the same launch games and Titanfall for months. There hasn't been much for the PS4 either, but it hasn't been completely dry like the X1 these past few months.

Meteorologically, Fall starts on September 1st, but according to the powers that be, it's September 23rd. Destiny launches on the 9th, so still Summer. Evil Within is October, so that'd fall.

I wish a dev made an open world sandbox game with realistic driving mechanics. Would be so amazing, though many people would complain because "sim mechanics are too hard", which they can be, but that's what's fun about them. Pulling off crazy maneuvers as you run from the cops would be infinitely more satisfying if the mechanics were realistic. Wouldn't be cheap to do, though.

I don't think MS is gonna make a reactionary VR headset, since that could be disastrous. I'm sure they've had their own VR headset in gestation for quite a while, just not as far along as Sony's.
Why wouldn't they work on consoles? This is a new generation, that means time to break new ground, right?
Planetside 2, which is made with the same engine and by a studio from SOE is already being ported to the PS4 and it's an MMO with a persistent world and constant updates. I think it'll be fine. Hell, FFXIV ARR is already on the PS4 and PS3 too.

Lololol. ICE Team not real? They're the graphics geniuses from Sony's WWS that made PS3 exclusives like God of War 3 and Uncharted 3 look so good. The ICE Team in particular is the same team that made The Last of Us, arguably last gen's best game and best looking game.
They're also the reason why development on the PS3 became easier for 3rd party devs.

Where are the games? Where are the Xbox One games? The last exclusive to come out was Titanfall which was 2 months ago. The PS4 had FFXIV for April and MLB The Show and Transistor for May.

Lol @ elzer. I hope you realize Sony makes some of the best TVs out there, and definitely the best TVs for gaming since they have the lowest input lag of any TV you can buy.
It's not a sim and all of the cars have done impossible maneuvers in the gameplay videos. No reason a Mustang can't.

That's what I was thinking too. I'm guessing they're saying you can play 4 players on one console and 4 players on another to make it 8 players online? But that's not 8 player split screen.
Oh well, I wouldn't want 8 player split screen since splitting a screen 4 ways is already small. Splitting it 8 ways would be crazy.
The PS4 doesn't support 8 controllers though... Only 4. Does the mean you can play 4 player splitscreen online, so it's possible to play against people who are also playing in 4 player split screen. So it's 8 players, 2 consoles, and 4 players on each console. That seems like that's the best bet.
