I love that they're giving love to indies since I have something to play during the post-launch drought (Transistor is amazing if you haven't checked it out).
I didn't have much to play on the Wii U during it's first 6 months and nothing new has come out for the X1 since March. I really wished those two had more indie support, though the Wii U does have a lot now, which is great.
I've been disappointed in all 3 systems so far. Good thing Transistor came out, that game is a godsend since I haven't turned on one of the new consoles in weeks, nothing but my PS3 backlog, the Vita, and some occasional 3DS.
Bioshockingly Infinite.
I'm more excited for Persona 5 than anything on the PS4, though. If it gets announced for the PS4 too, then even better since I want to start to retire my PS3.
Sure, MS's E3 last year had a bunch of games, but it was a lot of trailers for games that are subject to change or cancellation. They showed their hand out of desperation to save their E3, and hopefully those games won't be like Watch Dogs where each time they show it, people get less and less excited.

It's a pretty big problem for people who like to see the image on the screen. It can be fixed through software patches pretty easily if MS only realized that it is a problem and it doesn't make games "pop".

This game looks like a last-gen game with it's bad textures, lighting, AA, etc., so 1080p 60fps shouldn't be hard to hit.
I don't expect many 1080p 60fps games for either console since devs are going to continue to push graphics, game worlds, etc. and they can only push those things so far before performance and resolution have to be sacrificed.

You're underestimating social media and word of mouth. It's gotten around that the PS4 is more powerful and plays games better, that's all people need to know. They don't need to know the specifics, if they can play COD at 1080p on a $400 PS4 vs 720p on a $500 (soon to be $400) X1, why not play in 1080p for less/the same?
If time isn't something you have, you shouldn't be playing MMOs. They are the biggest time sinks in the world.
Mostly correct, but the X1's memory is unified. Having 32MB of RAM doesn't make the memory non-unified, it just means there's another source of RAM, though it's most likely only to be used by the GPU.
Unified just means the memory isn't split between CPU and GPU functions, its a full pool of memory for both to use and the 8GB of DDR3 RAM is capable of CPU and GPU usage. This means the system may be capable of hUMA, but I'm not sure. If the PS4 is capab...
I don't think anybody doubted the X1 can improve, the problem is a lot of people were thinking that would close the gap when they were told time and time again that the PS4 would improve too, meaning the gap wouldn't close. Software can change, but hardware can't.

Where'd you get 20? They have 11 internal studios that actually work on games and 4 of them are primarily Kinect studios. I count Rare as a Kinect studio because they haven't made anything else in years, maybe they could turn that around and announce something non-Kinect at E3?
They have a lot of 2nd party studios and they buy a lot of 3rd party exclusives, yeah, but those aren't their studios.

Well, technically, improvements through software is something that came from Gen 7. The previous generations used hardware upgrades that really divided the userbase (Sega CD/N64 extra RAM thingy).
You left out a significant part of that narrative. All I've seen people say is that Xbox One is going to get updates to improve it... But so will the PS4. That's why the gap won't close, software can always change, but it will change on both, while hardware will stay the same.
The Halo 5 rumor was true, the Halo Master Chief Collection rumor was mostly true, they left out Halo 1, and there's more that have been true.
