@Droidanomix:
Half of them were multiplats, as for exclusives that will appeal to Japan, that'll probably only be Sunset Overdrive.
They should've atleast shown D4 since that's a bit closer to what the Japanese market is really into. If you want the modern Japanese market, you need Monster Hunter type games, JRPGs, and visual novels/visual novel style games. This trailer lacked these. Sure, it had FFXV and KH3, but those aren't exclusive and a...
Yeah... No. That goes to the 8 and 16 bit consoles. I don't think the Xbox One or PS4 will be able to last 20+ years like many SNES's, and mine is still going strong today.
It's in the article. And it says "Games and Franchises".
It's talking about single games such as Enslaved and DmC. DMC is a franchise, but they're referring to a single game in the article, the reboot, which doesn't get much love but the core franchise is very beloved. It's also talking about franchises as a whole like the Yakuza franchise.
Er... You forgot inFAMOUS SS. Lol. And FFXIV ARR if you want to count it.
@Farmassy:
They still have and have had exclusives throughout the year, though. I can't say the same for some other console.
Your memory might be a little fuzzy there... Did you forget that there was this thing called online-check in DRM that they were trying to push? The thing that would lock you out of your system if you didn't log in? That's what people were against.
MS could've allowed family sharing even after they took out the DRM, but they were being childish. If MS can't play the game their way, then they're just gonna take their ball and leave.
@Love of the Game:
What are you talking about? You don't need to be on a certain account to play a game unless there's parental controls. All games on all PS3s and 360s are playable by all accounts. If that wasn't the case, then there must've been a serious glitch when my brother and I were sharing games and playing on our own accounts on our own PS3s and 360s.
Family sharing's been available since the PS3, the 360 does it a bit different ...
Edit: TLOU can be found for $20 at most places, but that's still $40 for all of the content, just $10 less than the remaster's price.
The Last of Us on PS3 still goes for $30+ and the Season Pass costs $20 making it the same price as the current price for the Remaster.
The Shadow of the Colossus collection is a collection of fairly old games that can be found for very cheap if you're buying them used. Buying them new and unopened would probably cost a lot because of their semi-vintage status but if you're just looking to play them on the PS2, it shouldn't have cost anywhere near $40.

"Sophistication"... That game used a couple of sci-fi's most used tropes, parallel universes, "another you" is your enemy, and even a couple other tropes from other genres like "this person you've been traveling with is actually your child", etc. What the game also used was plenty of plotholes...
*Spoilers*
When did Booker become a racist? He and Comstock are the same people but Comstock's as racist as they come yet there'...
It wasn't ruined by a twist since the twist was expected for a lot of people.
*Spoilers*
Who honestly didn't know Booker was Comstock and Elizabeth's dad? Parallel universes and "another version of you" being your main enemy are both contenders for the #1 spot in sci-fi tropes. I was honestly hoping Booker wasn't Comstock because it was way too expected, but still that wasn't the problem with the game since I don't mind sci-fi tropes ...
Please, stop with the Naruto references.
That's been my gaming dream since I started watching Digimon as a kid.
Just imagine The Elder Scrolls made more with VR in mind, and with co-op so you can go spelunking with buddies (not MMO).
And Dragon's Dogma. It runs horribly on last-gen consoles and the resolution is pretty funky too.
This is your post about how Killer Instinct Season 2 "is practically a new game"... You mean it's more like a full game since most fighting games come with atleast 16 fighters. If they charge as much as they charged for Season 1, I'm not bothering with this crap. That's Capcom levels of a new fighting game. They might as well just call it Super Killer Instinct, then Season three could be Super Ultra Killer Instinct, and so on.

I don't see PS fanboys complaining about Insomniac making an Xbox exclusive. Sure, Bungie had a bigger impact than Insomniac, but Destiny isn't exclusive and Sunset Overdrive is. Why aren't PS fanboys complaining and making articles where they complain about a real exclusive and why are Xbox fanboys complaining about a multiplat with timed exclusives?
My preferred console is the PS4 but I don't have any issues with buying the Xbox One for Sunset Overdrive. Sur...
"God that site is plastered in ads it makes things hard to read."
It's business, simple as that. It's a crappy site that put out a crappy clickbait article that's trying to squeeze out as much revenue as it can per click, and since it's a clickbait article, tons of people clicked and they saw a bunch of ads.
OT: Technically, this isn't Bungie's first game that got onto a Sony console. Oni (their secret best game) was their on...
I don't agree with exclusive content for Destiny, or any game for that matter, but going so far as to feel "disrespected" as many are saying how they feel? That's just immature.
Gamers are fans of games, actors partake in the creation of film and TV. You're making a bad comparison.
You can argue that some gamers develop games and are voice actors in games, but most gamers will never be a part of a video game's development while almost all actors strive to be in movies.
A more apt comparison would be voice actors to actors.
And you don't have to be a good actor to be in a movie, though I'd highly recom...
@KonsoruMasuta:
You don't get it, half of the Japanese video game market's revenue comes from mobile. Why do you think Capcom and Square tried their hand in it? Because it's making a more money than anything else and it's cheap to do.
Consoles don't do well in general in Japan, not having Japanese targeted games really just kills any sales. For the better part of 2 decades, in Japan, handheld ruled. Now, even handheld is losing ground to m...
