What's wrong with Naughty Dog and Druckmann aside from some pay to win shit in TLOU's MP?
Well, Queens hasn't been confirmed but we're probably not locked to Manhattan only.
Uhhh... Definitely do expect them. This happened in the first game and it's necessary if they wanna convey stuff like getting stabbed through your liver and bleeding out. Or if they just wanna pace something right. People want control cause it's a game, but it's always weird when characters are saying something really serious and the player's just bunny hopping around acting like a moron. It ruins the immersion completely. Sometimes devs have to take player input away during c...
Yeah. Remember, TLOU released the same year the PS4 launched. Imagine TLOU as a launch title for the PS4. Game of the generation contender as a launch title? That would've been insane.
@lxeasy
Only one of the games they showed was from 3 years ago, and it was Dreams. Spiderman and Death Stranding were announced at E3 2016 (2 years ago exactly), TLOU 2 at PSX 2016 (a year and a half), and Ghost of Tsushima at last year's E3.
@itsmebryan
Nobody's saying it's a negative that MS showed multiplats. The problem is the multiplats were by far the best part of their conference, and most of what they showed was multiplat.
And you're bothered by TLOU's second game in the series to deflect from the fact there's been a dozen Halo, Gears and Forza games? And how many remasters of Halo do you think we'll get?
Yeah, just ignore the amazing gameplay shown for the big 4. Well, kind of other than Death Stranding since... Well I'm sure you get it. Intriguing, I wanna learn more, but it wasn't exactly gameplay. Enjoyed it nonetheless.
And it's a bit sad when 3rd parties are why I enjoyed a conference. I don't mind since I enjoyed it either way and I do give MS's conference the win, but every Xbox exclusive could have been absent and my opinion wouldn't have cha...
Most of the ones with "Sony" in the name are made from inside. I think there might have been one or two devs that took on the Sony name but were originally 3rd party studios.
How can a game be one of the most viewed on YouTube and sell 3.1 million in 3 days but still be considered not popular?
@Reaprr
"People will support whatever platform they actually own and the games available for it."
Barely anybody bought what's arguably the Xbox One's best game, Sunset Overdrive. Your statement might be one of the most naive things I've ever read on this site.
I think we'll see Halo but not Gears. Too early for Gears I'd say. The most they'll do is probably a teaser.
@jinger
And my uncle works at Sony. He told me the PS5 is gonna be made out of diamonds and it can run the Matrix. True story.
I've seen Xbox fanboys do the same exact stuff, but not recently as things haven't been going great for them but when they were going great (and when Sony messes up) they start with their own vitriol. And there's just literally less Xbox fanboys in existence. Imagine if 1/10 of any console's fanbase were fanboys, then the more popular console would logically have more fanboys.
And what's embarrassing is that wall of text up there. We're always gonna ...
Condensed trailers? Sure, maybe a few but I think some (or mostly) gameplay would be nice.
Uh... You feeling okay? You should probably have your psychiatrist uncle look at your comment too.
@gangsta
If you're trying to mock God of War, it ain't working. It's got the sales, reviews, and love of millions to back it up. YouTube views just adds to our knowledge of how popular it is.
The fact that a single player game can capture people's attentions for so long just proves people who say single player games don't have replay value wrong. A bunch of views comes from boss fights/valkyrie fights, Muspelheim trials, Nifelheim runs...
It said announcement though. It's gotta be something not revealed yet.
Edit: Nevermind, I misread the article.
@Kribwalker
It would be impressive if it was a good game. But the fact that it's selling so well even though it's not shouldn't be something to be impressed by. That just shows how desperate people are for any Xbox exclusives, good or bad.
Got a certain, major reveal spoiled cause of that...
“I personally think that Sony played their hand too soon and now they’re running out of exclusives”
Yo... Microsoft literally announced studio acquisitions and the creation of a new studio without even showing games. That's the epitome of playing your cards too early.
The Intitiative was apparently just formed not too long ago and it hasn't even assembled a dev team yet. I've never seen something like that done at a trade show. People complain...
