You have no idea what you're talking about. If you don't see the potential with this software then this game probably isn't for you. I agree it'll probably bomb, or rather at the least not do so great at launch, but wait for the streamers and word of mouth. There's nothing quite like this and everyone who's used the software has been hooked.
Also, I've been paying close attention to this game since it's reveal at E3 2015. I've seen an exp...
It wasn't announced at the PS4 reveal event. It was just a little demo but we weren't sure of what it'll be at the time. The next time we saw it was when it was officially announced at E3 2015. And I'm pretty sure it's been in the works for far more than just 5 years. It makes sense. This is revolutionary stuff.
They have like 50 streams of them using Dreams and showing off the various features. So your surprise is misplaced. I've seen all of them and I've seen tons of changes and improvements along the way. The game is pretty much done now from what I can tell. Seems they're just polishing it now.
That's in the works. Don't know if it'll be there by launch though.
I thought there was a Game of Thrones game coming exclusively to PS4. You got me tripping. Still, super excited for Ghost of Tsushima. There hasn't been a single open world game set in feudal Japan. How, I don't know but I'm hyped. Also don't forget about Dreams, it's gonna be a sleeper hit.
Yo... Their version of Smash Bros. was Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. The foundation for a modern Battle Royale type game from Sony was already set, they already have the title and everything! I don't know how I feel about PASBR stepping out of Smash's shadow and stepping into Fortnite's but at least it'll have a better chance of being good.
@Kiwi66
Backwards compatibility, when it started, was there to give people access to a larger library at the start of the generation. It's always been a crutch. The fact that it's now being rebranded as something so amazing and especially this late into the gen is telling. Xbox is that damn dry right now.

How do you suppose that their gaming division is the best financially when they've sold less consoles and games in every generation? And you do know that they lump a bunch of other, non gaming things in with their gaming numbers, right?
God of War: Ragnarok or God of War: The Long Winter or something. Ragnarok will be the 3rd game.
Incredible technical talent too.
So the previous game was unpolished and buggy and if we played it, we wouldn't have a problem with this game being unpolished and buggy... But you say it's improved. Yeah, improved but not enough and not in the right areas. I don't see why you don't see why people aren't impressed.
It's unpolished and buggy. If that's what State of Decay is then I think people are making it out to be what it is.
They've talked about the campaign a lot already. It's actually like 3 different games that are interwoven. Basically there's a noir type game where you play and old man named Art who has strange dreams. In those dreams you've got a puzzle platformer and a beat em up.
They're also creating a bunch of other games with it that aren't part of the campaign that they're putting out as a way of kickstarting the community. And there's more than just ...
E3's just around the corner. I think we'll find out then.
@SKR3AM
Maybe? Watch their latest stream about music and sound. There's nothing else like this on the market.

And the tools are so much more than Project Spark could ever have hoped for. Project Spark gave you pre-made assets only, and you can create with them, but you're left with those basic assets. With this, you create your own assets from s...
I have a feeling you're right, but also that word of mouth will carry this game. Streamers and Youtubers will get kids to want to try it too.
This. So much this. I can see people just streaming themselves making music on twitch. You can even create with I think up to one other person (hopefully more too). Imagine creating music, live, with your friends. And then I'm gonna throw game jams/parties and we're gonna DJ live with it. It'll be awesome.
Word of mouth and twitch is going to make this game blow up, I just know it. They have a 10 year plan and everything, they're that confident in it and it's clear to see why.
You're an award winning writer and you thought Zack's Superman was engaging? Well, if an award winning writer says so, how can I disagree?
Personally, I've always wanted more games set in different time periods in different areas of the world. No other games seem to do that other than Assassin's Creed, but the series tended to focus on more recent history (1400s to 1800s) and the games never really did a great job of making the world feel alive. Origins did a lot to change this and I'm kind of excited to see where they go with the series after this.
We've also got Ghost of Tsushima now and it&...
