I'm pretty sure I'm in the demographic of "everyone" and I personally preferred Sony.
The thing is the Xbox brand will always win American hearts because MS is an American company, it's simple patriotism.
It's ironic how dead Capcom's once popular Zombie franchise has become.
Have they ever though?
I agree with you for the most part, but a Rezi game wouldn't need to be half as good for it to be worth playing IMO, plus it's unfair to use a fantastic once in a generation game like TLOU as a ruler for quality when the vast majority of games are inferior anyway.
I say just give us an oldschool creepy Rezi game and that would please most fans.
Never thought I'd say this being a big Rezi fan, but I'm having a hard time caring about any sequels given how the far franchise has fallen.
I heard the first game was pretty good, I should probably check it out before jumping into the sequel.

Seems you've misunderstood... Yes many people are still buying and playing games for the Wii but since it's no longer in production Nintendo won't be profiting off of it much, thus the Wii U is now Nintendo's main focus.
The Wii's no longer in production but the Wii U's still going strong, well strong enough.
I can only imagine they're re-releasing this game to see if there's any life left in the IP, it makes sense since Heavenly sword is owned by Sony and the DmC reboot was pretty much a flop.
A game is primarily a interactive experience, this is a fact that has been present since gaming began. The thing I dislike most about Cage and his games, is that the lack of interactivity present in them is somehow considered "innovative" instead of "regressive" and the idea that cinematic story telling is enough to carry a primarily interactive form of entertainment.
I don't hate the guy I'm just not a fan.
There should be some instructions to follow that came with the Ticket.
Basically you just need to decide now whether you want to receive your winnings as a Amazon gift card or cash through PayPal.
If you want it through PayPal then reply back to the ticket with the email address you use for your PayPal account. If you want the Amazon gift card then reply back with the currency you'd like to receive you winnings in (US, UK or CA.) :)
You sure did :D
Great blog too! Congrats on a well deserved win.
They don't interest me personally and I'd never call them a requirement, but plenty of people seem to enjoy trophies and achievements so why not include them?.
Sweet! I won again! Congrats to all the other winners and thanks to everyone who contributed :)
I feel the same way, when I play a game now it's usually one that hooks me and that I just can't put donw, but sadly those kinds of games are getting far and few between.
I've never played it myself since my earliest console was the NES, sounds interesting though.
Thanks for commenting!
The Dreamcast was an amazing contests, I've hardly met anyone who had one that wouldn't agree.
There's a difference between "not working 100%" and "virtually unplayable".
There honestly needs to be some kind of scheme implemented for large scale online releases, where they slowly put the game out to a small portion of gamers (similar to beta testing) and gradually keep making the game available to more and more players until the the game is officially released.
Something like that anyway.

Without a doubt a little (intelligent) marketing wouldn't go amiss, I would only worry that as soon as the idea of marketing was brought up that they would go all out so to speak, in order to promote whatever inde game they feel needs to be in the spotlight at the time.
It's this everything or nothing attitude that's become so synonymous with industry as of late that has caused all sorts of problems. But yeah, I do agree that marketing ...
The problem is that Japan already has both Sony and Nintendo to satisfy their gaming needs, and with both being Japanese companies they are a lot more in tune with what their Japanese consumers want.
MS being a western company have a very western, American oriented approach to their game development and marketing that just doesn't resonate well with many Japanese gamers.
Damn well better not let Capcom publish Mighty No.9! I didn't back the game to have it spoon fed to me in piece meals through DLC.
