Review scores as a whole are controversial. 8/10 on Eurogamer started a sh!tstorm, and 10/10 on "IGNorant", well, got the entire N4G community to throw the turds in the air like confetti. All of a sudden the former "IGNorant" site is now IGN.
8/10 still means a great game. Stop sobbing and get over yourselves. It isn't doing the game significant damage. It could've been worse, like a 6/10. People b*tch about the most ridiculous things like a review score it's really embarrassing me as a legitimate PS3 fan.

Let me get the scenario straight-
This site is notorious for their antipathy toward IGN for their reviews, but unless they give their favorite game they've never once played a perfect 10 they shower the review with praise and glory.
Just admit it, if IGN is so ignorant, this review should be also taken with a grain of salt. At least be consistent with your opinions toward a site for Christ's sake.
So when GTAIV got a perfect 10 it's total BS but when your favorite game that you have never once played got a perfect 10 it's "woot woot!"?

Have you actually played Uncharted 3? Why are people quick to put game they've actually never played before on a pedestal? Oh, it's a SONY game? Oh, ok. That explains it all.
For once, Obsidian actually made a remotely good game, but I still prefer Witcher 2 over this any day.

Like sonicsidewinder stated a torrent download will have a good chance of being included in a compiled statistic database and use that data as support for their claims against piracy. Even if you have plans on buying the game, that torrent download cannot be linked to your game purchase. It is very difficult to distinguish between full blown pirates and gamers that both download a torrent and purchase the same game.

This whole rebellious "pirate cuz it sux" is getting a bit ridiculous don't you think? Much of the reasons behind developers focusing on consoles over the PC is due to piracy. They see pirated copies as lost potential sales and many devs have lost confidence in PC gaming as a result.

FPS games suck nowadays. Back then not many games have regenerative health and checkpoints. Nowadays the game holds your hand throughout the story because that is how developers can make the game accessible to the masses that suck at games to begin with. After all, idiots are where the money is at, not gamers with actual skill. It's really pathetic.

It is not ported from consoles. Skyrim, RAGE and Mass Effect are games designed on the Xbox360 and then get ported to the PC. There are PC specific features on BF3 and the console version is only part of the experience you get on PC.
