Basically, GameStop is officially becoming the Goodwill of gaming. They've always been but more now than ever before.
I hated the touchscreen controls of Phantom Hourglass. I didn't even complete the first dungeon because I've lost my patience. I have every Zelda game with the exception of Spirit Tracks, and of course the licensed CDI garbage.
Late is better than nothing. If something needs fixing, then fix it.
Amazing game, best on the system. Every Wii owner should buy it.
The controls are great too, although they took me some getting used to, as I almost never play any motion control-heavy game on the Wii. But they're not broken by any means.

Destroying the entire formula for the sake of fixing what wasn't broken will bring on the well deserved hate. If I wanted an action RPG I wouldn't be playing a FF game. Square has lost touch with their fanbase ever since the PS1 era has wrapped up.
For example, imagine your favorite franchise of whatever genre turned into a lousy generic uninspired first/third person shooter, would you say the same thing, like grow up and get real? Really?
It's still 8th generation. "Next gen" refers to the next console cycle the system will belong to, not how powerful it is. Neither you or I know the specs of the Wii U or any other next gen console.

Quite frankly I think some console ports look and play better than some of the PC-lead titles out there, and even better than the lead console versions. Console port =/= bad game. Yes it is understandable "console port" has been given a bad reputation because they can be a hit or miss nature but with Bethesda they're not bad.

Capcom will price the new RE game for the 3DS at $50. Oh noes I lost faith in Nintendo! Really, this article is trying to make SONY look bad over something that isn't their fault.

Consider yourself lucky, I purchased mine on launch with the heavy price tag and all that, with no good launch title, with a sloppy Ambassador Program, etc. Early adopters typically get screwed the most when buying a system. That's life I suppose.
My thoughts on both systems:
The 3DS's launch was lackluster. No Mario or Zelda launch title, overpriced, and missing features like the eShop and web browser. The launch felt sloppy, and the system felt...unfinished. That may effect the system and Nintendo long term. But I still have hopes for success on Nintendo's part with the 3DS.

Jak 1 was boss. I for some mysterious reason didn't get to play Jak II or Jak 3. The games will be new to me.
I don't like CoD but I agree, this is pathetic. Then again gamers have multiple lives and there's always a 1UP laying around somewhere so wasting one of their lives on irrelevant bull like user reviews isn't such a bad idea I guess...
Well that sucks. I'll purchase this for PC but they need to fix this issue for the 360 version.
I liked UC2 better but this game IMO is still better than the original game and is a must buy if you like Uncharted. One of the best games of the year. The multiplayer on it is a blast too.
Calling something overrated is overrated. You simply don't have an opinion of the game as high as some others that really enjoy it. Even some 8/10 reviews are highly positive of the game.
