Motorsport (Forza proper) and Horizon are different approaches to racing. MS could do without the Forza brand for the Horizon series, but what difference would that really make for the game's content itself?
Forza, Gears, Fable, Halo, Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, Phantom Dust, Scalebound, Crackdown, etc.
Plenty of franchises, and that isn't all of them. But you're too busy trolling Xbox articles to keep up.
Like the person above you, it's a two year release cycle. Forza Horizon are spinoffs, but this is the proper series we're talking about.
It's probably not the most well-rounded console design compared to the PS4, however I really love the platform. It's probably my main console platform for this generation switching from PlayStation last gen. I also have a PS4 and Wii U, but Xbox One considerably gets the most use. That probably won't change when you get games like Crackdown, Quantum Break, Phantom Dust, Fable, and Halo 5.
@Mr Pumblechook
This has nothing to do with matching the PS4, it has all to do with the Xbox One progressively getting better hardware performance. Way to spin this into a negative.
And of all the comments posted here, it's yours that get a Well Said...
That's what Onlive and Gaikai (PSNow) wanted to do. Also, to my knowledge, the cloud is optional. The game will probably run fine without it, just better with it.
Perhaps. If the cloud is really the future, then by nature gaming will be online only. Out with the console, in with the streaming set-top box.
I got it for cheaper than retail off eBay. That's how I buy "definitive edition" releases, especially when paying more than half a hundred dollar bill for the same game the previous year.
They should've at least included GTA IV in the mix to justify a full retail purchase. If you're going to double dip, do it right and maybe I will support your product.
I don't. They overpriced their games compared to their competitors at KB Toys, Target, Best Buy, WalMart, Sears, etc.
Give me collections of remasters, not individual releases. Bundle RDRedemption with RDRevolver, Skyrim with Oblivion and Morrowind and include all the expansions/add-ons, etc. Knowing Nintendo, they rarely ever do that with their games.
As a launch PS4 owner, it has impressed me with Sunset Overdrive and Forza Horizon 2. Titanfall is also a fun game and I am currently spamming tons of bullets on the Halo collection.
Give us a 20th anniversary edition PSVita, or even a PS3 with BC.
Tell me where to apply for a position at Sony PR. I could use getting paid to defend Sony on N4G.
PS fans run this town, and they have no problem trolling Xbox, Nintendo, and PC articles in swarms. You got nothing to complain about.
The gaming universe is where nonsense somehow makes sense.
Hopefully you're right, but just in case you're wrong you better come up with some backup trolling strategies.
This is perfect. You got the entire N4G summed up in this nice little comments section. Keeping this bookmarked for future reference. :)
How large is this non-gamer audience that will actually pay for a subscription service to play PlayStation games as opposed to buying a PS3 and a few cheap games? What percentage of this audience actually has a good enough broadband service to enjoy it? What percentage of this audience think they could play games with their TV remote only to find out they can't? Will these PSNow-equiped TVs include a controller or do you have to buy one separate?
Most non-PS users that wo...
They are targeting console gamers as a part of the audience. Most of the people that really know about this service are the console gamers. The mobile-only crowd certainly wouldn't be interested in subscribing to PSNow. They'll just buy a few cheap games off iTunes and play those.
Performance > graphics, especially for a driving game.
