Skyward Sword had a few dark moments, especially the final battle. That innovation is seen in the refinement of the gameplay mechanics that have been implemented and this is just a small taste of the game. There's no way they're going to show off the best this game has to offer in a demo.
Also think about the fact that this was just a DEMO!! Only about 2% of the full game. How many new things are they keeping from us? I do wonder how many of the traditional Zelda items we can expect to make an appearance.
I knew what you meant I was just letting you know in case you hadn't heard that part.
"Zelda isn't doing much new that other games haven't already done. It's just new for Zelda." Have you played the full game? How could you possibly say that when all they've given is a small glimpse of the game? I've already posed this question to someone else but do you honestly think they'd show the best this game has to offer in just a demo? Of course not! Nintendo know how to do a demo right. Not only that but it looks like Nintendo will have implemented b...
Skyward Sword is my favorite game of all time. I really don't see how you could say it was a disaster. Motion controls were outstanding and incredibly engaging.
Do you mean getting one shotted without leveling up? I've watched gameplay of those and if you're sufficiently leveled, relative to where you are in the game, bosses will take about 3 hits to kill you without healing. Ganon will be stronger than that rock monster in the demo and I saw that thing, most certainly one of the weaker mini bosses in the game, take off three hearts of damage in one hit. I'd bet that if you tried to fight Ganon with basic equipment he'd probably take ...
They said that with the Sheikah Slate you have an infinite number of bombs at your disposal.
I'm a little concerned though because with being able to climb everything there might not be a hookshot in the game. Though I wonder now if the Palutena reveal in Smash Bros. was foreshadowing that we wouldn't get the hookshot in the new Zelda because Pit destroyed it.
You pretty much go where ever you want, whenever you want, provided you have the skill to get to where you want to go.
I thought for sure Ganon's castle would be blocked off until you beat the main dungeons first.
I guarantee you that with nothing but basic equipment any attack he lands would kill you in one hit. I'm guessing that white armor we saw in the trailer is some of the best, if not the best armor in the game.
Do you honestly think you'd have enough skill to do that, at least on your first playthrough? I seriously doubt that. I know I couldn't. If you went to fight Ganon with basic equipment you'd get one shotted in 5 seconds.
Yeah and I'll bet they have been using it.
It shows a thunderstorm in the first trailer they showed at E3.
At the end of the piece they say they would be slightly disappointed if Ganon turns out to be the final boss. It's already confirmed that HE IS the final boss, it says so in the demo. I wonder how they could have played the demo and not known that.
I wonder if anyone will try to 100% this game WITHOUT using quick travel and I wonder how long that would take.
Gamepad is great, I know you don't want people thinking that but it's true.
Anyone who thinks money didn't play a part in it is kidding themselves.
I do not care for VR in the slightest.
If you think Zelda won't be full of surprises then you've got another thing coming. I wonder how a shooter could really surprise anyone at least from a gameplay perspective. An interesting twist in the story sure but gameplay wise I think a shooter that's much harder to pull off.
