When Nintendo is THIS confident in a game you know it's going to be something truly special.
Video games ARE NOT crucial to yours or anyone else's survival. They are for ENTERTAINMENT!! If you can afford to play video games then you must not be going hungry. Am I wrong? I enjoy video games a lot but I'm not under any delusions that I NEED them to live or be happy. It would be great to see people act less like spoiled brats and appreciate what they have.
Nintendo for the most part don't like to show off a game until it's within less than a year before release. The only exceptions are Zelda, Xenoblade X, Tokyo Mirage Sessions and Bayonetta 2. 4 games they showed or just said were in development way early. How many games did Sony show last E3 that won't be out before 2017? Games early in development were most of what Sony showed last year. Nintendo has several dev teams that have been working on almost assuredly big games for at lea...
I haven't even played this game yet but anyone who thinks this game is anything short of spectacular needs to rethink their stance on what a good game is. The original had me hooked into its world for well over a month when it originally released in the US back in 2012 and I can't see why this game wouldn't do the same.
Zelda is the only reason I need to own a Nintendo console, everything else is just a bonus.
RosweeSon basically said what I was going to say. There really isn't much variety in ANY of the games from 3rd parties. Nintendo at least changes up the gameplay more between iterations of their franchises than 3rd parties do, or Sony or Microsoft for that matter. I'd say the best games Ubisoft has put out in the last 5 years have been Child of Light and Zombiu, Gamepad integration in Zombiu is so good.
I'm assuming you've played the original Xenoblade. If you have which one did you like better?
I got Twilight Princess HD the day it released but I'm holding off playing it until a few weeks before Zelda U/NX comes out.
If you consider the best the Wii U has to offer as only "decent" then you can't possibly say that x1 or ps4 has any remarkable games. I'll take Zelda alone over everything the x1 or ps4 will ever have combined. Sure I'm a huge Zelda fan but I'm absolutely certain the new one is going to be absolutely incredible. What you should have said is the Wii U has a small number of GREAT games, which it does. Even if they don't all appeal to you you have to admit the syste...
The poor battery life of the gamepad and the online features lacking a bit are the only two concerns I have with the Wii U. I fail to see your reasoning as to why you see Nintendo as a joke because you didn't offer any reasons. They put out high quality games in almost every genre and the consoles themselves are very reliable. We have every single Nintendo home console and they all still work. Reliability is something you can always count on with Nintendo. Sure there are some games that I...
If you dislike Nintendo so much then why are you wasting so much time here being negative? When I really dislike something I ignore it as much as I possibly can as that just makes sense to me. It's very odd to see someone waste so much time and energy on something they don't like.
Yeah none of that was necessary it was just there to pad out the game. Not that I'm complaining. For the record I think you can only carry 40 bombs max in OoT unless they changed it in the 3ds remake.
I think Mr. Iwata made the call to shift focus over to NX before he died. Actually I think it was probably agreed on unanimously between him and the board of directors in early 2015 which like you said and I've thought for a long time is the right call. I'd be very surprised if the NX doesn't have at least 6 big first party titles out by the end of next year or the latest March 2018.
There's no reason to be so overly dramatic. Any rational person can see that Nintendo has focused 90% of their efforts on the NX. Adding Zelda tidbits into their smartphone games will in no way affect the quality of their main console efforts.
There's a rumor that there's going to be more but I'm very skeptical.
I agree that the Wii U lineup is sparse because it is but the same can't be said about the 3ds.
One thing he left out was expanding the upgrade system. Skyward Sword did a pretty good job with its upgrade system but it was rather basic. I want it to be really in depth and for some of the best upgrades to be really hard to get. Say to get the most powerful bow in the game you need to fight a giant spider at the top of a mountain to get its silk but it's nearly impossible to get to the top. This mountain could be like the cave of ordeals in Twilight Princess except you can't heal ...
It doesn't matter because the game is still going to be on NX.
You can say that as many times as you like but that doesn't mean it's true. People are only ever overly negative about something when they're trying to push an agenda. You just WANT people to think that Nintendo is irrelevant and you think that saying it enough times will make it so. You effectively want people to be brainwashed. You don't want people to think for themselves and that is disturbing.
