Look at the way each article title is worded. The Sony article doesn't make it come off as a foregone conclusion that it will be terrible, just that there's a possibility. This article about Nintendo makes it come off as if it is an undeniable fact that Nintendo is completely incompetent when that is most certainly not the case. Nintendo's decisions may be a bit baffling but jumping to such a conclusion of complete incompetence is both unwarranted and unfair. Sony gets the benefit...
To a lot of people it won't matter to them if the NX is an incredible system that has all the third party support. They will hate it and say it's terrible regardless. I know you already know this but I figure I should put this here for anyone who may not have realized this yet.

Actually Nintendo is focusing more on the west right now if e3 is anything to go by. Zelda's biggest market is in the west, North America specifically, and they kno...
So many downvotes...I don't know what to say anymore other than it's pathetic, it truly is. I don't see how there can be so many irrational people out there that can't think for themselves and just go along with the negativity. There are a lot of weak-minded individuals out there and it's very sad.
Why does an article like this get approved when it's Nintendo but it would never see the light of day if it was Sony? Why is that?
I thought the N64 only launched with 2 games - Super Mario 64 and Pilotwings.
I think the NX will have at least 6 or 7 huge first party titles by the end of next year with decent third party support.
I was right about the N64 except the game was Pilotwings 64, I forgot the 64.
Don't be so sure about that, I think there's going to be at least 6 or 7 huge first party titles within the NX's first year as well as pretty decent third party support.

Because so many of Nintendo's studios have been quiet for 2 1/2 years or longer. They won't have all third party but I'm confident they'll have quite a few of the big titles, mainly from Square Enix and Capcom. What do you think the Cloud amiibo functionality ...
I'd be fine with it if it was on the gamepad screen.
Personally I don't want onscreen notifications. That would be distracting and annoying to me. Granted I'm sure you could probably turn them off, at least I'd hope you could.
While I question the timing of its launch myself I have faith in Nintendo. I know most don't feel this way but Zelda alone is all I need to be happy.
If you think Skyward Sword is bad then you must have been playing it wrong because I think it's an absolute masterpiece.
More than anything Nintendo needs people to quit bashing them for everything they do. Constructive criticism is good but there is so much blind hatred towards the company it's unbelievable.
I know the needless bashing won't ever stop but maybe, MAYBE it will lessen eventually but I doubt it.
No he/she is not because I feel the same way.
I completely agree even though I love the gamepad.
I'm excited for the gamepad integration but at the same time I'm gonna miss the motion controls from Skyward Sword. Oh well you gotta take the good with the bad.
It's not a big deal.
I don't think Zelda being delayed again is a bad thing and I don't feel sleighted in the least. Patience is a virtue.
I don't appreciate when people try to force their opinions on myself or others acting like their opinion is fact like what you're trying to do here.
I refer you to my comment above that I posted in response to darthv72's comment.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you when you say "the Wii U was a disappointing console generation" because that all comes down to personal opinion. What the title of the article should have been is "The Wii U was a disappointing console generation FOR MOST". That "for most" part is an extremely important qualifier. For me personally all I've ever wanted out of the system or any Nintendo system for that matter is Zelda. Everything else is just a bonus. I ...
I don't appreciate you calling someone elses' preferences as having low standards. All you're doing is trying to demean theirs and my own personal tastes. For me all I've truly wanted from the Wii U or any Nintendo console for that matter is Zelda, if you couldn't tell from my username. That's how much I love the franchise. Everything else is just a bonus. So for me I'm really excited that Nintendo's main focus is going to be the new Zelda. How can I have low s...
