Multiplayer isn't really needed, to be honest.
Fallout 1 and 2 were good, Fallout 3 was crap.
Elder Scrolls have always had shitty writting and plot.
Mass Effect? Maybe. The plot's pretty cliched, and some characters lack development. It's not flawless.
You might disagree with me, but after the original FF:CC, all the other games have been crap.
My bad. I forgot FFXIV, while will be a good MMORPG, meh...
Anyways, beside that, I forgot good FF games stopped existing long ago.
Oh well, if the game DOES turns out to be good I'll eat my words. Pretty much doubt it, anyways. And no, not talking about "good" as "HURR IT HAS 95% ON METACRITIC LULZ", but an actually good experience.
I'd say, it won't, sadly.
The team competent of actually making good FF games is doing FFXIV, and FFvsXII will be the angsty teenager grimdark stupid drama Nomura wanted KH to be.
..PC has actually of the best games of all time. (Planescape: Torment, I'm lookin' at you. At you too, X-Com.)
Too bad PCs nowadays get shitty, badly optimized Console Ports most of the time.
And I have to agree with that last line, but I guess that's how it is most of the time.
Read the comic.
It's awesome.
But alot of movies are based on books.
@rdgneoz3
I was just talking about the fact of comparing books to movies, in wich lotsa books get the upper hand by that same thing you just said.
QUOTE FROM THE GODDAMN ARTICLE:
"At E3 I saw people putting on speeches but I thought the future seemed a bit dark," he told OPM. "The 3D games didn't spark my interest.
"I think motion control's a bit old now, I don't think those games are the future. It all seemed a bit dull," he added.
And he's right. I fear what the next generation of consoles might bring upon us.
...
Eh...what if I think Anime ain't no god-sent stories nor am a shitty weaboo, but I still like a few animes?
I mean, I did grew up watching Anime, after all. And some of them are great- Cowboy Bebop comes to mind, but something I always find lacking in JRPGs is characters that don't go on stereotypes.
I mean- yeah, they're kids saving the world, but...I can't help but wonder what if instead of Nomura or someone like that, we had Mohiro Kitoh or Yoko Taro (and we...
The hell you're talking about?
PC version had crappy FPS if you didn't had a great PC, and the eventual crash here and there. The engine was horrible, dude. Even worse than Bethesda games.
LAN support for 15$.
I hope it's multiplat, but aside from that...fuck yes!
A title that I had some hope on, a game that could've been really something.
And while it doesn't looks bad, it doesn't looks like what they promised...
Fuck yeah, this looks seriously awesome.
Ego much, fella?
It all comes down to opinions, but Red Dead Redemption was an overall better game than Heavy Rain. I mean, there's no comparasion on both, but HR was a 10-hours long quick-time events movie while RDR was actually a game. There's no denying that HR was cool to play through once, but it wasn't a good "game".
...Except it's not a movie.
It's supposed to have game bits on the "nightmares".
